My Self-Summary
I think that in the best relationships between people, the
relationship develops its own ethos that guides the actions of both
partners. And by working towards the needs of that third entity,
one satisfies the needs of both self and other without any division
of effort between the two.
Otherwise, I'm responsible, secure, and giving with a silly sense of humor. I'm bright and interested in just about everything. Professionally, I write medical software and am involved in a personal project to improve medical communications. In my spare time I sing opera, perform in community theater, and play board games with friends. I love good food of almost every kind, plain and fancy, and delight in finding new ethnic restaurants. I love rain and falling water, and have three cats and a koi pond. My friends say I'm dependable, honest, and creative. I'm looking for a lady of intelligence, wit, and confidence who has a giving nature; someone who is kind, strong, and happy with herself. A little zany or nerdy doesn't hurt.

What I’m doing with my life
Trying to make the world a better place. Right now that's by
figuring out how to get medical information from one place to
another. Spending time with my wonderful friends. Singing!
Appreciating my cats and a good walk around the neighborhood.
Searching for new ethnic restaurants, pie, and cool new (or old)
words.

Off-the-wall humor, coming up with original (not necessarily good)
ideas, explaining complicated things, finding interesting stuff in
anything, appreciating other people's good qualities, cracking
myself up, not letting little things make me unhappy.

For me, the greatest prize of a good relationship, friendly or
