I'm a fun and sincere guy with a thirst for adventure. I enjoy traveling - from Spain to Japan - the world is an amazing place! I can only speak French tho, très mal (Warning: I may forget this while drinking).

I love animals. I used to have a beautiful Siberian Husky. I also owned 2 orchids, but only one has survived. I suspect foul play, but orchid #2 isn't talking...

I feel that life is better when expressed uniquely and creatively. Photography is my main outlet. I've also started taking classes at The Crucible in Oakland.

Music is something that has always stirred my soul - I enjoy live music and dancing. I like a pretty wide-range of music - jazz, indie rock, and electronic (dubstep).

Being active is important to me. Fitness, hiking, outdoor sports, etc. I've gone to yoga a few times, but I'd be lying if I said I knew what I was really doing. I'm trying to find a partner for some indoor rock climbing or cycling.

I'm also the lead software architect at a smallish eCommerce site. It's a pretty sweet gig. I also am a semi-professional ice cream-taster.

Books - I'm currently reading "Norwegian Wood" by Murakami.

Movies - I suppose I'm a little snobby here, but I do watch a lot of movies. Netflix junkie. I tend to steer toward the artsy, foreign movies, but I like anything done well. My recent "best-seen movie" was "Moon".

On the lighter side, I'm currently entrenched in the "True Blood" series. Slightly addicted.

Music - I like all sorts of music, depending on my mood. I love live acoustic music and electronic. Let's see - iPod check time: Beirut, Fiona Apple, Foo Fighters, Silversun Pickups, Portishead, Thom Yorke, José González, Azam Ali, Stanton Warriors, Cicada, An-ten-nae, Lorin, MSTRKRFT, Anna Ternheim...

Food - I love trying new restaurants, but I'm not a food snob. I always order dessert.

I don't have a "typical", so I'm not sure what to put here. I do random things - bars, clubs, movies, art openings, plays, dance shows, fashion shows, board games with friends, poker night. If there's something to be said about me, it's that I don't like to have a "regular" anything.

I like to explore and not hibernate... unless it's raining. Then I'm chilling (no, not "chillaxin") with a glass of something and a good book.
