My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Ste, a 23-year-old guy who's open-minded about music and new ideas. I'm newish to Exeter and looking to meet new people to explore with, and then just see what happens.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a reporter so my job is endlessly fascinating. Some weeks are more interesting than others, but just in the last week I've interviewed TV's Richard and Judy, and Honor Blackman, who played Pussy Galore in Goldfinger.
So yeah, no two days are the same, but they're almost always long! So I'm trying to make more of my weekends by finding someone special to spend them with and explore a great new place.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, I hope - it's my job and I hope it always will be.
I know a good song when I hear it, and I reckon I can spot tracks that particular people I know will like.
I'm also the best unicyclist I know (I don't know many).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can be quite quiet at first but I soon come out of my shell.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
All sorts of music - folk, indie, electronica, Americana
A few artists - James Blake, Beirut, Fleet Foxes, David Bowie, Rilo Kiley, Iron and Wine, Girls, Feist, Dirty Projectors, the Beatles, Battles, M83, the National, Sufjan Stevens...

For films I'm mainly a comedy guy. I like Tarantino, the Coen Brothers, and Wes Anderson as directors, as well as quirky independent movies like Submarine or Let Me In. Also a bit of a superhero film geek.

I don't watch much TV TV - When I had plenty of time on my hands at uni I'd try to find the next big thing - Breaking Bad, The Wire, The Sopranos, Arrested Development, Nurse Jackie, Veep, Portlandia - if only for the thrill of sharing them with people.
Now I'm on the reverse side and benefiting from other people's recommendations. Currently digging Parks and Rec.

I read when I can but it's mostly mags like Vice or Private Eye, the i newspaper or whatever pops up online.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My DAB radio alarm clock, my phone, wheels, water, sugar, pendantry
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where the next scoop's going to come from, then desperately trying not to think about work and where I'm going to go next at the weekend.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Trying to get some culture at the Bike Shed Theatre, enjoying the crowded, buoyant atmosphere at the Fire Shed or in watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm worried I have hypochondria.
