My self-summary
So what is there to say about me ... well, that I'm an (occasionally) witty guy, who doesn't take things too seriously and can usually enjoy almost anything. Recently just finished a 6-year stretch of post-secondary education and was lucky enough to land a job in my field; I'm an instructor/behavioural therapist for kids with autism. Basically, I offer 1-to-1 therapy for kids as part of an agency. Can't lie, it's an exhausting job, but I really do love it. Love the agency I work for, the kids I work with and my fellow therapists. Maybe in 3-5 years I'll pursue further education to help move myself up in the field, but as far as I'm concerned, that is long into the future. I appreciate the break from school and the chance to recoup my withering bank account.

When I'm not working with kids, or passed out from working with kids, I enjoy things that probably any other person would. I'm a huge music fanatic. Love going to concerts and live shows, especially at smaller venues. Anything outdoors like camping, hiking or canoeing is always fun. Staying indoors and being lazy on the couch is also awesome!

I could tell you what makes me unique, but where's the fun of giving away everything in an on-line profile? I'm an open book who loves good conversation once I get past my shyness and only slightly awkwardness. Also, this is just my way of avoiding trying to explain why I'm unique when I'm really not; I belch, trip on invisible bumps on the sidewalk, enjoy a tasty pound of chicken wings alongside a cold beer, curse like nobody's business and thoroughly enjoy sweatpants just like everyone else!
What I’m doing with my life
See above! :)

I will say again that I am very passionate about the field I am in and what my work stands for. I know that I won't be an instructor therapist for the rest of my life, but I intend to stay in the field.
I’m really good at
Being patient?

Finding the humour in any situation; yes there are limits but you can't take life too seriously. If we can't laugh at ourselves than ... well, we'd a bunch of stuck-up bitches, and that'd be no fun.

Remembering song lyrics/random band information.

Being laidback; this goes back and meshes well with the patience and humour. Getting all worked up and stressing over little things it's just so exhausting. Take things as they come, day by day. There's no need to feel rushed or panicked.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hmmm ... well you'd probably have to ask other people. I'm sure one of the things is my height, though I don't think being 6'1 is thaaat tall. Another thing is my hair; people either seem to like it, or try and convince me to shave my head.

... I'm not going to shave my head.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oooh, ok this might be another lengthy list.

Books .... I'm a huge fan of Michael Cunningham and Bret Easton Ellis. "A Home at the End of the World" is my all time favourite book, followed by books like "Less Than Zero," "American Psycho" and "The Rules of Attraction." I also have a romantic, semi-sappy side that is pretty much summed up in "A Time Traveller's Wife." And, I can't even lie, I still dig Archie comics. I'm also pretty sure I still have my old collection of R.L. Stine Goosebump books, that I will never get ride of! :D

Movies ... Love all kinds. I'm a sucker for those original, 70's-80's-90's horror slasher movies like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream. Some of my other favourites include The Graduate, Away From Her, Jackie Brown ... Zoolander is classic, I don't care what anyone says. And Pixar movies are awesome!

TV Shows ... I haven't stayed ontop of a lot of series, but the ones I do love are Dexter, Criminal Minds, Big Bang Theory. Buffy and The Simpsons will probably always be my all time favourites.

Music ... Bob Marley, Bloc Party, City & Colour, Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Our Lady Peace, NIN, Garbage, Smashing Pumpkins, Rihanna, Beyonce, Alexisonfire, Adele, Counting Crows, Deadmau5, En Vogue ... I could go on, but this would be an exhaustive list.

Food ... I eat like a bitch. Seriously, anyone who doesn't enjoy food is crazy. I will try anything at least once. Classics like pizza, wings, burgers are always good, but I love indian, asian, greek and mediterranean food as well!
The six things I could never do without
Hmmm, apart from the obvious...

1) My iPod
2) Samosas
3) Sushi
4) The comic genius of Russell Peters and Wanda Sykes
5) Youtube
6) My bed

Pretty much from this list you should gather that I like to eat, sleep, laugh and listen to music. Yeah, that sums me up pretty well! :D
On a typical Friday night I am
Bungee jumping? Probably not, but that's on my list of things to do.

I might be passed out. Or could be out with friends nearby, or in the city.

I do miss the days of university and Friday night dorm parties. for all those still in uni, take advantage of it, and go to all those parties, you'll regret it if you don't!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sing loudly when no one is around. Like obscenely loud.

And I really do love going to the beach. And picnics are fun too.
