I am a 64 year widower of mixed heritage with 6 adult children. I retired from nursing as an L.P.N. My 4th wife died in 2007 and I have kept pretty much to my self since then. I have not been in the dating pool because I wanted to give my self an opportunity to be fair to the next woman in my life. I truly miss the way a woman feels in my arms and the feel of a woman's touch. Although I have lived much as a hermit for several years, I would truly welcome a companion to experience life as I feel it should be experienced. I have much to offer the right woman. I am not a know-it-all, but I do know a little about a lot of things. I love people, music, poetry, a glass of occasional Merlot or brandy. I have been a smoker of cigarettes for many years, but I am trying to quit. I had a heart attack 9 years ago with a triple bypass and I am also diabetic none of which adversely affects me.

I mostly stay at home, read and surf the internet. I have lived a solitary existence, but I would love to spend the rest of my days with someone who deserves the love and respect that I can give her.

I like to write poetry, short stories and music A & R (artists and repitoire) I can usually tell you when a song was released and by whom.

They usually comment on my hair and they always ask, "what happened to your eye"? This always leads to meaningful dialogue.

My three all time favorite movies are, The Jerk, Oh Brother Where Art Thou and Forrest Gump; however, I also like Invasion of The Body Snatchers.Where music is concerned, I like a vast variety. From Classical to Jazz to Country and R & B. I also groove on Latin from time to time.
