Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I enjoy conversation if you're willing to participate. So hurry up
and finish reading... Or not. Actually take your time,
And apparently this site doesn't like my "irrelevant" marking for
questions, but a lot of them have little to do with people's lives
and more about opinions and sterotypical outlooks, so they suck
I update/check this as I can... I'm a Chemist at a pharma corp, and
no, not like on Breaking Bad, but it does keep me fairly busy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work an odd shift. Wed-Saturday every week. Yes, it sucks
sometimes, but money is money, and time is time.
What takes priority during my day depends on the priorities given
I am attempting to get into medical school too, but that tends to
be difficult when you're busy all the time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dunno, depends on what you would consider to be "good" lol. But I
am fairly skilled at random things. This would be a good
conversation starter... *cough cough*
I will admit to being good at snowboarding, considering I used to
teach it... So yeah.
And I tend to be good with my hands for random, yet specific,
things. Like fixing things... or wiggling them like a drunkard. Lol
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Idk, I really wouldn't know what "other people" notice, considering
it varies by what 'they' are looking for. But feel free to share,
maybe I'll even put it on here.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: varies by ability to stay good. Example: The Dark Tower
series by Stephen King, has it's ups and downs, but was overall
good all the way through. Bad example: The hunger games series.
starts out really well, but lacks imagination in the end.
Eventually I will get back in the habit of reading on a daily
basis, but I've been really busy.
Movies: anything that keeps my attention. Applies to several things
weirdly enough, but anything scary, funny, or action-y is good. I
will sit through a romantic movie if two conditions are met: 1)
It's not so terrible I feel the urge to shoot myself, 2) we're
there and you understand I'm there for you.
Music: I have a rather small collection now, since I lost a lot
over from a hard drive wipe, but anything that is
danceable/jammable to is good in my book. Slowly rebuilding my
library when I can. :-)
Food: Italian, since it's in my blood and all. But also Asian and
Mexican food tend to be a good choices.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My dog - Nanuq
2) My phone - alarm clock settings so I am on time to work...
3) Food - I like to eat, but you'd never be able to tell until
you've seen my day.
4) Showering - Obvious reasons, but less obvious included into the
chemist aspect of my life.
5) Friends - Although been kinda anti-social since I started
6) Laughter or my hammock I guess.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How people can be so uptight about certain things. Wondering why I
am so amazed by the stupidity of some people. Where I am going to
be in 5 years Random shit all the time... I mean stuff... Lots of
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Nope, you're not allowed to stalk me... I hope.
That's (relatively close to) sarcasm.
But my Fridays tend to be getting off work and going home to relax,
cause working is f'ing tiring when you stand up all day. Sometimes
I go out, but really depends. Saturdays are the more exciting ones.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Idk, I sleep in a hammock (yes I have a real bed, haha), and really
enjoy traveling. That's all the heck you're getting at first,
because you need to ask. :-)
I've seen a lot of crazy situations in my life.
Also, I have relatively strict rules on dating long-term (1+
years), but I will be honest and let you know what they are after
we get to know each other better. (I find several people tend to
have a lot of the same rules actually.)
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
*Shrug* I don't think this stuff works, but I figured I don't have
time for anything else. I only respond at night btw, when I'm going
But to give some ground rules:
1) You are intelligent and intuitive.
2) You understand your identity in the world.
3) You enjoy scary things. (Not necessary, but if you don't then
you're gonna want to not watch movies with me.) lol
4) You're open minded. (In terms of conversation/ideology)
PS: You can't expect to much from people these days btw, so
thinking you're gonna wait for me to message you first is stupid.
Just do it, and take some initiative.
