My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I think I look at life in a dream-like fashion more than most but am pragmatic because I have to be. Probably too eclectic and precious for my own good, but it can make for an interesting life. I like laughs as well as quiet times.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm still fairly new to Leeds. New also to my job which out of the many I've had is one of the better ones. I am trying to be creative and always looking for more inspiration in other people, friends perhaps. I really enjoy cooking and cycling.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Treading water.

That apparently I'm "well-spoken".

BOOKS. I like reading books which hook me in and have exciting characters. Ryan David Jahn, John Irving, Stephen King, and Richard Laymon. A classic which I like is The Wizard of Oz and I recently liked Low Life. Let me also not forget the quiet wisdom of Sherwood Anderson.

MOVIES. Horror movies rate high with me. DePalma (not the gangster stuff), lost movies and silly satire. Rosemary's Baby and Problem Child would make an awesome matinee. 70s films seem to have really good dialogue and cinematography. Addendum: Paper Moon.

SHOWS. 'Simpsons forever! Bates Motel. The Golden Girls have some great one-liners. I'm also a sucker for Haven. Just started watching s4 of American Horror Story too. South Park can often be a thump in the head but also very funny.

MUSIC. Just got into the jangle-pop of Blake Babies. I also like some jazz. Acoustic music, I think will always be dear to me; Suzanne Vega and Bob Dylan. The new Beast Coast album... well it sounds like their others, but I like it. Addendum: Gottschalk. If you can play piano I would swoon.

FOOD. I'll be glad when Month of The Lentils is over. I am vegan and like a lot of Asian food. Thai can be really nice. I like Hansas and Wagamama. I love to cook for friends.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Your impending death. [insert evil laugh].
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Crying and writing emo poems. Oh right, I'm NOT 21 anymore.
