I like neuropsychology: Oliver Sacks mostly, and I recently read a personal account of a psychological researcher on paranoia, including some crazy personal accounts of clinical reproductions of paranoid episodes involving darkness, enclosed spaces, large amounts of cocaine, and police. psychology and bizarre neurological disorders fascinate me. My all-time favorite writer is surely Kurt Vonnegut. I dig anything that sticks with me for a period of time after i read it. My son is named after a John Irving character, although I'm not really a big John Irving fan.
Music is a really big deal in my life. I spent many years touring with bands as a teenager and adult, and I need music to survive.
Hm..I'm pretty disappointed with movies and television, but that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy poorly made, low-budget horror movies.
I really enjoy Japanese food, and I used to really like Pop Tarts but somebody ruined them for me and i can't eat them now.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
dental floss
books (a book?...i guess "A Prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving, even though I don't really like John Irving, it's one of my favorite books)
someone to talk to
my son (not that I can't talk to my son, but if you've ever spent a significant amount of time, and by "significant" I mean like an entire day or more talking to a six year old you'll understand my need for "my son" and "someone to talk to" to be two separate categories.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
It's really obvious when you talk to me because I say pretty much all of it out loud.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing one of two things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've seen all 7 seasons of the original "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series....I mean I own all 7 seasons....and I've watched it several times.
