My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A few things that make my heart happy are:

-music (listening to it, singing, going to concerts)
-traveling, especially abroad or anywhere that has a beach
-laughing with friends
-getting lost in a book

I love going on adventures, I'm always up for a dance party, and I will almost never turn down an opportunity to see a concert/live theatre.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently finished a wonderful year and a half living and working at a retreat center in southern Indiana. On the job hunt and trying to make the most of "funemployment" by teaching myself acoustic guitar, learning how to snow ski, and finding new restaurants to review on Yelp. I travel whenever I can, wherever I can. I got to go to Disney World with a friend last spring, and I spent Thanksgiving in New York City. Hoping to make a return trip to Europe soon!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
singing, making mix CDs, and baking.

my laugh. One of my college roommates once told me that if she were a guy, she'd date me just so she could make me laugh. But don't take her word for it... ;-)

books: Harry Potter series (unashamed that I cried during the 7th book), Hunger Games trilogy, The Fault in Our Stars, Atonement, Eat, Pray, Love.

movies: Pride & Prejudice, (500) Days of Summer, Once, and Up are at the top of my list.

shows: Downton Abbey, The Big Bang Theory, Friday Night Lights, The Muppet Show. I drool over The Food Network when I can get it (no cable at home).

music: '90s pop, a cappella, Ari Herstand, Ben Howard, Ben Rector, Dave Barnes, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Jon McLaughlin, Matt Nathanson, Mumford & Sons, musicals (Once, RENT, Spring Awakening, anything by Jason Robert Brown), Parachute, Walk Off The Earth. "Music is our greatest weapon in the war against unhappiness." -Jason Mraz

food: sushi! Indian food, macaroni and cheese, brunch. I have a second stomach for dessert.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
love from family and friends
the ability to travel
good food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how to have more fun!
the future. I am always curious about what will happen next. Life has a habit of surprising me (usually in a good way!).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
ideally with friends, either out for dinner/drinks or in watching a movie and just hanging out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It's not private, but I have a mild physical disability and walk with crutches. It hasn't prevented me from doing anything I wanted to do (I learned flying trapeze last summer and it was awesome), but if you're curious please feel free to ask.
