I am adventurous, inquisitive, and easily amused.

My Self-Summary

I hate self-summaries. Yes, yes, I know... I'm supposed to say something brilliant, witty and wise that will make you go 'Yes, that girl! She's the cat's pajamas! She owns a dictionary! Her state-funded college degree was not a complete waste of taxpayer dollars! I bet she has a big rack, too!"

I just moved from a big, sprawling metropolis where people are rude, snappish and aggressive to a small, college-oriented town where people are friendly, engaging and relaxed. I was unprepared for all the eye contact I've had to make, all the small talk I've had to formulate and all the manners I've had to pretend I have. As you might have guessed, I'm having trouble making friends where our dynamic isn't based on abuse, passive-aggressive tendencies and/or veiled threats. Also, its really cold here and I don't know how I feel about that, yet.

I'm here to make a friend or two but also to meet people (read: boys) with whose assistance can finally help me decide how I feel about this white stuff on the ground. They say its called snow. I'm dubious. On television, it was never this cold looking.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm a grad student at KU. The short course on the subject matter: the deceased, skeletal biology, disease and genetics. This is impressively sexy dinner conversation as you might guess, especially at a Chuck-E-Cheese or anything that boasts skeeball, playground equipment, or Dora the Explorer side by side with your cocktail. See also: nerdtastic, dork explosion.

I’m really good at

Generally, I'm pretty good at most anything I try but the opposite side of that dime is that when I'm not good at something on the first or second try, I'm fairly certain the world is officially over. I have Alex P. Keaton disease.

The first things people usually notice about me

The shape and color of my eyes.

The six things I could never do without

Laughter and hope and a sock in the eye.

Wait.
What?
You want six?
An original six?

Internet, you exhaust me.

You should message me if

What do you have to lose?

Well, I mean- besides that.
