I am open, curious, and sincere.

My Self-Summary

I just finished uni and am currently trying to shake the structure out of my life, but once necessary habits die hard! Have a few post-study resolutions
1. Relax
2. Step outside my comfort zone
3. Stay there!
(god…that’s so structured…fuck!)

I work casually in two jobs and like the flexibility and the challenge I suppose. I live in a city apartment with filter_, my partner, and love it - particularly the late night coffees both out and in. We don’t own a TV so we make and seek out our own entertainment and, in my humble opinion, are uber-skilled at it.

I'm not too fussed about money, if its nice it was worth it. I like catching up with people and having a chat, and am keen to expand horizons. If a chat with someone does that, it was a bloody good chat.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love and hate this kind of question! At the moment

Books: I just read 4 great books in a row

The Book Thief - Markus Zusak
Broken - (can't remember, already took it back to the library!)
Q&A - Vikas Swarup
The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger

And my old favourite
Joe Cinque’s Consolation/ The First Stone (Helen Garner)

Awesome, incredible, thought altering – love it, this is why we invented language

Movies:

The last movie I saw was Mary and Max which I highly recommend! There’s way too many to name, though I suppose top 5 would be Cohen Brothers, Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick, anything fucked up but for a reason like KIDS and hmm, Team America.

And anything with Kevin Spacey in it… he is my Sean Connery.

Music:

Yep, love music - yet to find someone who doesn’t. This week Paul Kelly and Marilyn Manson Sweet Dreams

Food:

Not to be cliché but gotta love mums cooking! And going out for a meal, both awesome. Especially when its spring rolls

The six things I could never do without

How I could handle things better

On a typical Friday night I am

I tend to avoid going out on a Friday night cos of things like parking and not getting a table (not to sound like an old lady). If im drinking, it'd be beer at someones place or my place or out over dinner. I like socialising but am not really bubbly and outgoing. I talk a lot to the people I know, and listen a lot with the people I don't. So to answer the question, last night was friday and I listened to the radio and worked on my puzzle...hmmm. Though Tuesday I went out for tea with a friend from uni and drank beer and got home after midnight so ner.
