My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A little bit about myself: I grew up in a small town of 2000 people, but then went to Boston for high school, college, and grad school. I'm still very close with my family, even if I don't get to see them much outside of holidays. I'm very much down-to-earth, slightly witty, and I have a good sense of humor. I'm just as happy going out on an adventure as I am staying home and relaxing.

Some of my random habits: I get up early in the morning but still stay up late, often too engrossed by a book or movie or conversation to find my way to bed. I make funny faces quite often like I think I'm part of The Office cast. When I get really animated while speaking, I start dropping my "r"s and the Boston accent comes out (and I do say "wicked"). I have an almost irrational love of Barnes and Noble stores.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In terms of career, I'm a lawyer. It's really interesting work and I love what I do. Outside of work, I spend most of my time visiting friends/family and going on mini adventures throughout the northeast.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've stored up so much random knowledge over the years, that I've become a pretty good trivia player. It's a fairly useless skill . . . except on trivia nights. Need to know the type of dinosaur that Dino was on The Flintstones? I'm your guy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My expressive eyes. I am not entirely sure what's meant by this, but I've heard it on a number of occasions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This is tough to do since I have so many, but here it goes...

Favorite books: Ender's Game, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Flowers for Algernon, Ulysses, and The Count of Monte Cristo.

Movies: The Godfather, Goodfellas, Star Wars (IV-VI), Lord of the Rings, The Departed, Gladiator, Love Actually, As Good As It Gets, and way too many more.

Shows: The Sopranos, Rome, Boardwalk Empire, Homeland, Dexter, 24, Lost, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Modern Family, New Girl, and The Office.

Music: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Mumford & Sons, Of Monsters and Men, The Lumineers, and fun. In a broader sense, I'd say rock, pop, rap, and maybe even a little country. Maybe.

Food: Steak, Italian, Thai . . . actually, I'd say there's something from all types of food that I enjoy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My friends & family
2. Books
3. Great adventures
4. Sports
5. Great conversation
6. Barnes and Noble (which, incidentally, I hear carries books)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My upcoming plans. I'm always trying to coordinate with friends and family to set up something fun to do, which usually depends on the season (skiing, football, wakeboarding, concerts, etc.).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Enjoying a few drinks with friends or on a long drive for a weekend getaway.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Yeah . . . how about we save this question for another time?
