My self-summary
I am one of those people who wants to strike out into the world to make a mark. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. I love shopping, dining, and talking with friends as much as time alone with a fun project.

Sometimes I tend to be a bit contradictory, at least according to society's clichés: I ride a motorcycle and have a rebellious streak, but I also work a steady job and have a responsible side. I play video games with the guys on Saturday and then go get makeovers with the girls on Sunday.
What I’m doing with my life
Professionally? I make games for a living, and have the title of Lead Engineer, which means I turn zeros and ones into fun for millions of people around the globe. My favorite part of the job is meeting someone who plays something I made -- there's nothing more awesome than seeing someone who got joy out of something you did.

In my personal time I paint, play games, read up on everything from economics to fantasy, go to the gym (or pretend I'm going to go... tomorrow, I promise), and cook.
I’m really good at
I've been told I'm a great teacher.

Also, I'm really good with finances. At several jobs I've ended up being the financial advisor of several coworkers and helped them get a budget together, arrange their accounts, etc.

As an aside, this section makes me sound like I have a giant ego. :(
The first things people usually notice about me
My best friend in high school said it was my eyes; but I suspect it's more likely my long hair. My hodgepodge of races also sometimes gets attention, but only for people who pay attention that kind of thing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: I love anything with a solid orchestra or strings. Classical, Techno, Metal, Symphonics. Some good starting points might be Apocalyptica, the Black Mages, Within Temptation, Garbage, Bond, Sonata Arctica, Delain, Evanescence, Epica, Therion, E Nomine, that kind of thing.

Books: Pretty eclectic. I can read a textbook straight through, but I also like good science fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, you name it. Favorite book of all time is probably "Snow Crash" by Neal Stephenson, but I also like the first books of the Anita Blake series, "The Historian", "The Great Blue No Where" and a bunch of others beyond numbering.

Movies: Adaptation, Equilibrium, Stardust, Ironman, V for Vendetta, Interview with a Vampire, Disney's 90s collection (Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, etc.)

TV: House, Castle, Firefly, Slayers, Ranma 1/2, Full Metal Alchemist, Evangelion, the various Law and Orders. I also have enjoyed what I've seen of TrueBlood, though that's only season 1.

Food: Homemade Pizza, Barbecue (of all varieties), Cheese, Over-complicated salads, Ravioli, Queso, Fajitas.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Marginal Theory of Value (look it up, it shows up everywhere)
On a typical Friday night I am
Preparing an amazing meal for Saturday. Slow cookers are my best friend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Not really 'private', but probably that I've got a pretty strong effeminate side as well as masculine side. If you're not okay with that, we probably won't get along. On the other hand, I usually get along amazingly with most bi girls because of this.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 20–27
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
- You think chatting would be interesting
- You want to give me a better day (at least I think it's nice if someone takes the time to write a stranger something :P... so long as they aren't creepy. That'd be bad.)
