I am considerate, accomodating, and am typing this.

My Self-Summary

Just skip this section, profile viewer - I think that it would be much better for you to read the other sections of this profile rather than for me to attempt a summary.

What I’m doing with my life

At the moment I am studying full-time at UNSW in Sydney and am enjoying it much more than my previous uni. I'm getting considerable exercise from the many sets of stairs there and the vast distances between where my classes are and bus stops.

I’m really good at

Remembering dreams and things that have happened long ago, listening, public speaking(so I'm told anyway though I do enjoy it), keeping calm. I also enjoy writing but I don't really know how good I am at it as such.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm not sure really. It's not often that people mention that they notice something about me, even rarer that they mention the first thing. At the very least they'd notice that I'm a human male or presume that I am anyway. I think if I haven't had a shave then my unkempt facial hair probably gets some early recognition.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

a)Tuesdays with Morrie, Long Walk to Freedom, Have a Nice Day, The Third Policeman, Different Seasons, The Dark Tower series and a lot of other Stephen King works, The Adventures of Tintin Billy...there are quite a few that I enjoy and the genres that I enjoy are all over the place b)The Silence of the Lambs,The Shining, A Beautiful Mind,No Country For Old Men, Pulp Fiction(generally anything which features Samuel L Jackson in full profanity-shouting mode), King Kong(moreso the original than the remake, though I enjoy both), The Wizard of Oz,Return to Oz,The Shawshank Redemption, the Rocky movies(mainly the first one which I think is great and gets an unfair rep as being cheesy, which I think is due to it being parodied endlessly),The Wrestler, Wall-E d)there are many but I really like pasta and pizza, kebabs and many others. Most chicken dishes. Freshly cooked prawns are another love of mine on occassion as well.

The six things I could never do without

Well there's the obvious ones for physical survival but I've never been in a situation where I've been severely deprived of things and begin to go loco. I guess things would be pretty grim for me if I didn't have anything to write with or any books to read. The internet and a computer, may be others, but I have gone without them for a period of time on occassion and didn't feel too aggravated about it. I'm still here so I must be able to live without them:)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The future (both my own and in a more general sense),the mysteries of Lost, looking at everyday objects and thinking how I would MacGyver them if stuck in a tricky situation, whether or not Dextergets his cling-wrap wholesale.

Lots of other dreams and thoughts pervade my mind as well but I won't go into them here, there has to be something of a mystery about me to keep people interested and intrigued.

I've also wondered just how my profile has rocketed up to 80% complete when previously it was 45% and I didn't add any new photos or write a bunch more in these sections. If anyone out there knows then please contact me about it even if there is nothing else on my profile that grabs you.

And giant squids.

On a typical Friday night I am

At home, reading, using the Internets. Maybe a bit of T.V if something decent is on. Speaking of which, I also spend time wondering why OKCupid doesn't ask people TV shows under the favourites section of profiles here - in case anyone's wondering, I really enjoy Lost, Good News Week, Summer Heights High (though I don't know how much the latter counts as it was really more of a miniseries) and possibly the most awesome show on earth, Dexter.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

When I leave it too long to cut my hair it starts to resemble a slightly disheveled 70's newsreader's haircut. Or that of a Legoman. Don't worry though as it's rare that I let it get to that stage.

Adding to that, I haven't completely discounted the possibility that things like ghosts and extra-terrestrial life exist. That doesn't mean that I believe every story I hear about them, I just think that it's very difficult to claim that we know everything about everything by now. We did once think that the Earth was flat after all.

You should message me if

If you like or loathe anything that I have written here or spot a spelling mistake.
