My self-summary Propose an edit

I'm really picky about movies, so if I mock you because you say "The 40 Year Old Virgin" is the best movie ever, it's nothing personal. I'm very much a minimalist when it comes to any kind of art. I'm a huge nerd, but I'm okay with that. I'm kind of shy, but I try to act like I'm not. I cook pretty well. I enjoy learning about interesting and abstract things like language, the invention of the number system, and theoretical astrophysics; that shit blows my mind. (See, I told you I was a nerd.) I play guitar, trumpet and a little piano, but I wish I played the piano much better. I might be the most sarcastic person ever. Most cats love me. I make math jokes on a fairly regular basis. I have a quirky sense of humor. I'm also really random. I like hiking and soccer. I know more obscure, useless facts than any one person should. I laugh all the time; even at times I probably shouldn't. I'm a good writer, but I'm a horrible speller. I have a dog named Calvin who is bilingual. I love sushi, especially eel.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

At the moment I'm working as a post-production audio engineer and I hope to keep doing that until I retire or until I marry a rich broad. I guess my ultimate goal is to work on sound for big-budget Hollywood movies. I also decided recently that I would love to do sound for the Discovery or History Channel. That way I would get paid to watch all of their programming.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

I'm spectacular at identifying movies, even movies I've never seen, after seeing only a few seconds of an obscure scene. It's not a very useful talent.

I'm great at memorizing facts, especially facts that no one will ever need to know. (eg Wheat bread toasts faster than white bread because it reflects less of the heat)
