I am a St. Louis native, spent my college years in Bloomington Indiana, and then came back to St. Louis to teach. I taught high school social studies for three years and middle school theater on the side. However, after three years of teaching, I was burnt out and needed a change. After some time off, I decided to pursue my original interest of law school. While a law career may finally take me away from St. Louis, I really enjoy living some of my adult years in the city I grew up in. After living so many years in one place, you become an expert of sorts of your home town.
I love storytelling. Stories are all about people making choices and how those choices transformed the individual. This American Life, Radio Lab, and The Moth Radio Hour are some of my favorite radio shows. Movies, plays, and music are obviously sources I regularly check out for good tales. This passion for stories led me to get involved in improv comedy scene in St. Louis. It gave me a creative out let to create and perform original wacky stories. I also met some really awesome and talented friends too.
