My self-summary Propose an edit

I'm a single girl who is enjoying her life and marches to her own drummer. I can be aloof, outspoken, and/or a pain in the ass. On the other hand, I can also be reserved and quiet and out of the way. I try to be as honest as I can, and sometimes that means putting my foot in my mouth. I always mean well though. :)

I'm constantly seeking the truth and/or knowledge of things. I enjoy experiencing new ideas and concepts. Hopefully one day I can say my hobby is traveling, but that's a bit too soon to say this right now. I'm curious about the world around me and maybe one day I'll find out what my mission is on this planet.

- music--some bands include: silverchair, placebo, the cure, morrissey/the smiths, arch enemy, hole, HIM, combichrist, franz ferdinand, meatloaf, echo and the bunnymen, depeche mode, NIN, nightwish, rammstein, the dissociatives, L7, bikini kill, veruca salt, the 69 eyes, judas priest, sabbath, the smashing pumpkins, idlewild.

- books. i no longer have that pile on my floor. i sectioned them off into various sections that work in my own head. i have my music section (rock bios), pop culture (two books by chuck klosterman, love is a mixed tape by rob sheffield, and two books by pamela des barres), my "breakdown" section (basically sybil, tommy's tale, the portrait of dorian gray, and breakfast on pluto. in each book the character has some sort of "breakdown" experience, spiritual or mental), feminist-themed books, and my chick lit.

Movies: Rocky Horror Picture Show, Breakfast on Pluto, Hedwig and the Angry Inch (sensing a theme here? :p), Velvet GOldmine, Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Queen of the Damned, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Muriel's Wedding, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Dazed and Confused

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

- traveling. I have so many places I want to visit, but no time to do so. Such is life.
- why things the way they are and how I can change them.

sadly, working and then passed out early at home.

that I'm not looking for a long term relationship. There's plenty of time for that later in life. I'm just enjoying meeting new people and seeing what life has to offer me in my time here on this planet. And no, I'm not talking sexually!
