My self-summary
Really, really fast.
I’m really good at
getting into trouble
self-doubt
going deepdeepdeep down the rabbit hole
loving on people (in all senses of the expression)
flaring my nostrils as a mating call
sharing a bed with pugs
maintaining the most erratic, indulgent, and simultaneously inconvenient sleep schedule ever
talking incessantly about the things I'm passionate about (intellectual disabilities, vitamins, education, alternative sexuality, dogs in wigs, etc)
The first things people usually notice about me
My walk. I have CMT, a neurological disease that affects my legs, so I sway my hips more than most. People usually think that I'm flirting with them because of my walk. It's pretty silly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Lolita, by Nabokov, is my absolute favorite.
Other favorites include: The End of Alice, The Collector, The Weetzie Bat Series, The Autobiography of Malcolm X.

My favorite song ever - the theme song of my life - is "Get Me Away From Here, I'm Dying" by Belle and Sebastian. It's pretty telling. I especially love ones with upbeat melodies and macabre or depressing lyrics.

My favorite movies include The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Martha Marcy May Marlene and Rosemary's Baby. In regards to my preferred TV shows, I'm a fan of Arrested Development, Parks & Rec, Raising Hope, The New Girl, The Office, Dexter, Criminal Minds, Fargo, and HIMYM. On Mondays I watch The Bachelor with my Nana. We gasp and cackle. It's shameful.

I love food. All food. All the time.
The six things I could never do without
the sensation of repeatedly banging my head against the wall

that's it
I spend a lot of time thinking about
intellectual disabilities, testing measurements and their implications, if I'll ever get out of this rut, what I can learn from the past, how much i need to snuggle up to a pug, extreme couponing, cooking, sexsexsexsex, tomatoes and eggs crashing against white walls, i should get off of buzzfeed and cracked. y'know what i mean.
On a typical Friday night I am
Drinking wine alone and watching television. It's actually not all that bad.
