I am i, dont, and know.

My Self-Summary

i like to think i'm generally a pretty decent guy, but if you can't take a little bit of sarcasm you probably won't like me.
other random things you may want to know: i'm too honest and straight-forward for my own good, i enjoy sneaking up on friends and scaring them (though i've cut back on this), hiking's a good time, and i bought a motorcycle despite everything inside me saying not to (i love it).

What I’m doing with my life

working, living, hoping my destiny finds me before I'm too old to recognize it... i won't be finding it anytime soon so it had better come to me.

I’m really good at

there's this one particular video game... no so anyway i can be fairly good at anything that doesn't bore me or just confuse the hell out of me. if i find something that interests me enough i'll teach myself what i need to know about it and go from there. i think most people are that way though, assuming they have a decent level of intelligence to begin with.

The first things people usually notice about me

they're all horrible nasty mean things so of course i don't know any of them because people wouldn't want to say them to me--instead they tell me something like i have nice eyes, which i do

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books: i read often. favorite genres are sci-fi, adventure, and military thrillers. as far as classics go i like vonnegut, dickens, huxley, and tolstoy. my favorite books of all-time include the count of monte cristo by alexander dumas, the road by cormac mccarthy, the hyperion series by dan simmons, les miserables by victor hugo, and the book of the new sun by gene wolfe.
movies: basically into the same stuff i like to read, and as with reading i watch both classical and contemporary movies, and enjoy just about anything. i've seen a ridiculous amount of movies so chances are if it's good i've probably seen it, and im not afraid of movies with subtitles.
music: i mostly listen to rock, punk, alternative, and top40 type music. i play a different song on my myspace every so often, and i keep an archive of them displayed so you can check that out for some more insight.
foods: italian, mexican, spanish, chinese. introduce to me something new and maybe ill add it.

The six things I could never do without

what if i have 7 things i can't do without? there's this terribly overused quote that goes: "you don't know what you have until it's gone". it fits the question, so let's go with that.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

what i should be doing with my life. and why in the hell the death test says ill die of cancer when i dont smoke or use anything with carcinogens, and noone in my family has had cancer. it also shows my age of death as 81 in the list of my tests taken, but the result it gave me was 82. no, i dont really spend a lot of time thinking about that, and i hope you didnt spend a lot of time thinking i spend a lot of time thinking about it either because that would be a huge waste of time.

On a typical Friday night I am

riding my motorcycle, out with friends, at the gym, playing a video game, watching a movie, enjoying nature, sitting in front of my computer staring at the screen for hours and hours, exciting things like that.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

well i thought i was being really clever with what i had written, but apparently i wasn't. now i have nothing to put here. grr

You should message me if

...you want to. if i reply, great. if i don't, well there's probably a good reason so don't worry too much about it.
some of the things i like (like does not mean need) include full lips, cleanliness, an open mind, and a decent sense of humor. someone with a bit of an edge. staying healthy and active is good. trust, honesty--tell me what you're actually thinking, not what you think i should hear. assertiveness, someone who can show me what they want. a little romance doesn't hurt--long walks, going out to dinner, cuddling, all that stuff. random acts of caring...just don't be annoying about it.
so there's some of the stuff i like, but everything is different for every person; message me if you're interested and we can go from there.
