I am honest, knowledge-hungry, and misanthropic.

My Self-Summary

I am interested in a lot of different things really. I am very passionate about learning and always trying to improve myself. I have pretty much always been interested in computers and online communities ever since I installed my 300-baud modem at the age of 7 :P I was a BBSer of course and ran my own BBS. I also did a lot of ANSI art. Currently I am working as a web developer with a Master's German Studies. I am also a gamer and have played anything from a German paper & pen (das schwarze Auge) to MMORPGs. I have an X360, PS2, PS3, Wii, and an original Nintendo complete with power pad and gun ;P I should probably also mention that I speak English and German fluently, as well a tiny bit of Spanish and Hindi. I love to travel and I have visited Austria, the Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, England, Morroco, St. Lucia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Canada. I would like to go some place in Asia next. I have also been vegetarian for 16 years and I am passionate about that and related issues such as environmentalism, sustainable development, human rights, health, etc. Music, art, and creativity are also important to me. Both creating and enjoying the creations of others.I used to rock climb and snowboard, but I haven't been in awhile. I am generally fairly open. If you ask, I will probably answer you openly and honestly.

What I’m doing with my life

Right now I am working as a web developer in Michigan and wondering what I am still doing here :P

I’m really good at

I dunno... mostly I am just OK at a lot of different things. Guitar, piano, singing, web development, web standards / accessibility / usability stuff, Photoshop, Illustrator, computers in general, photography, gaming, rock climbing, snowboarding, painting (mostly oils), cooking, baking, being a geek, kissing, being passionate, being vegetarian, blowing off guys who ask me why I am reading in a bar, and looking silly.

The first things people usually notice about me

Physically probably my eyes, lips, or toesocks. Otherwise? Probably how blunt / open / honest I am or just how geeky I am.

The six things I could never do without

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything, unfortunately for me...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I don't really have any secrets...

You should message me if

You have similar interests, are looking for a new friend, and don't type things like "omgz... u r beuatiful!!11" ;P If you aren't interested in friendship at all, you probably should not contact me.

If you are interested in more than friendship:
It is important that my partner be honest, open, affectionate, intelligent, witty, passionate, and willing to try new things :) I really would like to be with a lacto-ovo vegetarian like myself if possible. Vegan would be fine too, as long as they can handle the power cheese has over me ;P I would be willing to try veganism though, especially if my partner made me lotsa yummy stuff :D I also need my partner to be communicative or at least willing to put an effort into it. I am very honest, open, blunt, and unfiltered to the point it can almost cause issues with some people. So you need to be able to handle that :) Also, I like massages and coffee in the morning :P
