My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello. hmmm....ok. here we go. I'm a 50 year old polyamourous ( it means I and my partner have multiple comitted and honest relationships. It doesn't mean I cheat) bloke with a taste for reading, good telly, (and some bad telly) excellent music (everything from Ramones to Arvo Paart, to Weather Report and Beethoven) and making people giggle. Reasonably tolerant (except to gluten and Nazis) and well behaved at the dinner table, I am perfectly safe in most social settings, and won't poo on the floor. I am in a relationship at the moment, and am looking for a friend or partner. I just got a new job, and it's better than the one I had before. So that's good then. So, there we go. Well behaved, sick sense of humour, educated to A level standard and no serious diseases/manuacturing faults.

I am amusing, loud, and retiring
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Er..what? Oh yeah. Not enough I suppose. I play the drums and am learning to play the guitar, and am curently in the worst band in the world. Seriously, if you can find a worse band I will donate my guitar to charity.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making stuff, listening, playing drums making people laugh, foot massage. And cake. Really good at making cake.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Crikey..I dunno. Not much hair. And Loud. 's all a front tho. sometimes.
A rather wonderful person last week described me as "Tigger with drums"
This is one of the loveliest things anyone has ever said about me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

To many to list, but here's a sample: Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Samuel Becket, Thomas Hardy (poetry more than novels) Steven Ambrose, Harlan Ellison (genius, really) Duffy, (the poet, not the singer) oh bloody hundreds.

Withnail and I. Blade Runner. Erendira (based on a Gabriel Garcia Marquez story, it's hysterical). Alien/s. Doctor Who (I know it isn't a film). The Green Mile. Serenity...

Blitzkrieg Bop (Ramones) Spiegel Im Spiegel (Arvo Paart) Birdland ( Weather Report) Amelia (Joni Mitchell) Supper's Ready, (Genesis) Aerials (system of a Down)

Steak. Rare. Gluten free Battenburg. Chilli. Curry.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Something to write with, something to read, friends, love, ( I know..*vom*)and, er, other stuff.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to play complicated stuff on the drums, sex, (I am a human male, it's practically in the specification) How to make things and...oh all kinds of nonsense
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Er..depends. Being glad the weekend's started, mostly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I did an apalling thing to a melon when I was 17, and drunk. I am not proud. But am willing to tell people about it. does this make me an exhibitionist?

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You feel like it, and do or at least understand poly. And don't mind blokes who are a bit older but behave like kids. In a good way.
