My name is Matt. I just like to live life and have fun. I write stories, songs, poems, plays, make movies, play the guitar, sing, take pictures, etc. I have some music and films floating around cyberspace and I would love to share all of my art with anyone who is interested. Just ask ;-)

I have two jobs. My main job is as a document control administrator for an energy company. I also build movies at a movie theater on Thursdays nights for some extra cash and the benefit of free movies.

I guess I'm on here to meet new people, possibly even a girlfriend. I'd like to have a long-term relationship with the right person though, but I would still enjoy hanging out and having fun with friends I meet on here.

I'm trying my best to accomplish all of my goals and live a life of happiness and fulfillment. There's not enough space here for all the details, so you'll just have to find out exactly what I mean when you meet me ;-) Isn't that the point in going out with people?

The short and sweet answer would be that I have about a billion different creative ideas that I am trying to get out of me in whatever way they will come out (stories, poems, songs, plays, movies, etc.) and I would hate for all of those ideas to go to waste. When we create something, it is almost always meant to be shared with others. And that is what I intend to do.

Making people laugh, cooking, thinking, listening, being supportive, all the things that you girls are wondering if I'm good at, hugging, cuddling, writing, singing, sleeping, etc.

These days, people notice that I have lost weight. I have lost over 30 pounds this year. I have also have pretty cool eyes (they are dual-colored: green and brown).

(a) Books - I'm interested in a lot of things. I'll just list a few books that I really enjoy.

1.) If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a Movie Actor (Bruce Campbell's Biography)

3.) Post Secret
4.) Lies My Teacher Told Me
5.) The Complete Works of William Shakespeare

I read a lot of history, biographies, comedy, and even children's and teenager books (good for the imagination).

(b) Movies - I am a movie buff. I'll watch pretty much anything and chances are I'll like it overall. I can still criticize though, for those of you that enjoy debate. I just try to find SOMETHING that I like in all the movies that I watch. And remember that I see almost every movie free, so I never have the need to want my money back :-P A few favorites are:

(c) Music - I like all kinds of music, but I mostly enjoy rock. I consider myself an eclectic. I listen to everything from classical to big band to oldies to classic rock to shwtunes to Disney songs to pop to rap to rock n roll to alternative to metal and beyond. A few favorities are:

(d) Food - Despite trying to eat healthy and doing Wii Fit, I love food. My guilty pleasures include:

...and so many other things.

1. Paper and pen/pencil

Joking aside, there is no typical Friday night. I have something different going on all of the time :-D
