My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
In my early 40s, living on Queen Anne with my cat and overly enthusiastic dog. Pretty normal but with some quirks thrown into the mix to make things intriguing. Tend to be funny, shy, smart & sarcastic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working and fighting floating bridge traffic by day. By night the usuals - tv, sitting around in my underwear, reading,

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Tend to be introverted. That manifests with me hugging the wall or blending into the background. I'm a social chameleon.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Time Traveler's Wife, Lost Continent, Jasper Fforde novels, historical mysteries, travel essay books, non fiction. A smattering of sci fi thrown in for good measure (Ready, Player One) and way too many romance novels.

Movies - Young Frankenstein, Strictly Ballroom, Wedding Banquet, Beautiful Thing, Steel Magnolias, Spirited Away, Shawshank Redemption. I swear I have been to the movies in the 21st century.

Music - not a huge music guy. When I do listen to audio it usually tends to be NPR, C89 or podcasts.

Shows - musicals, sitcoms (The Goldbergs, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mindy Project), WWII documentaries, Antiques Roadshow (I had a non speaking cameo on the feedback booth a few years back).

Food - If was ever on death row my last meal would consist of onion rings, fried chicken, chow mein and a bowl of frosting. I'm pretty sure this was also Elvis' last meal before he died.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my dog

invisibility

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lately trying to decide on the locale of my 2015 big vacation - Amsterdam, Ireland or Australia are the current front runners.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home, on the couch watching tv & my dog asleep next to me
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The number of cheesy gay romance novels I read but I do draw the line at vampire, werewolf and shape shifter ones. Even I have some standards. Low they may be.
