My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I should probably start out by saying that I'm slightly disturbed by the sheer number of women on this site that feel the need to explicitly state in their profile that they're not interested in hookups. I know that online dating can draw out the lowest common denominator in guys/trolls, but I would like to think that they were the exception and not the rule. Naive perhaps.

A little about me. I'm a software engineer by trade. I love it because it's one of the few professions where you can create something out of nothing...magic. I use the term engineer loosely however since most people in my profession have the conjuring power of a drunk wizard. My other creative outlet is music. I've been teaching myself music composition on the side. Luckily an inebriated wizard can make cool stuff in this department.

I'm cut from a different cloth than most guys. I don't drink beer or watch sports. I actually pay attention to what I wear, and I have a unique taste in music. I like going up to Canada every now and then to soak up culture. It's great going places where work can't reach me (they don't pay for my phone, ergo i'm not taking their calls). I'm usually pretty mild mannered for the most part, but enjoy sky diving. I'm also a pro at cooking pot roast and pop tarts, yet lack the ability to cook anything else.

What am I looking for? Someone who will make me want to pause the PlayStation to return text messages to. I like witty people that are fun to be around. I especially like people that are good at mad libs. I'm not big on drama. I have enough of that already and whenever I feel there isn't enough I prefer to feed that with Netflix. I want to say smart too, but that seems cliche. Plus if you're good at mad libbing odds are you're already smart.

Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a software architect. I play with Legos that cost millions of dollars.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sarcasm. I have a penchant knack for making sly jokes and painting with broad brushes.

I'm obviously good at computers since that's what I do for a living, but no, I don't possess the ability to magically fix laptops that "don't work".

I'm also something of a mixed bag when it comes to cooking. My artistic capabilities rarely extend much past programming. However, I have an uncanny ability to make stunning pot roasts.

Why does everyone single out country music and/or rap when they say they enjoy "all kinds of music" while giving yodeling a free pass? Really? I've yet to meet a single person with The Lonely Goatherd on their iPod. Oh and quit hating on country music, Charlie Daniels is awesome.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually out having dinner and drinks with friends.

I find it disturbing the number of women on this site that need to say in their profile that they aren't interested in a hookup. It makes me question the quality of the guys on this site.

Oh and no I'm not looking for a hookup. My apologies to all of the promiscuous ladies that look at my profile and say to themselves "man meat". However take heart, I hear a lot of guys on this site are into that.
