I am completely, utterly, and myself.

My Self-Summary

I don't log on here very often so I'm sorry if I don't respond to you for months :P I will try!

I already have the most perfect man in the world, so no matter how debonair you are, you're not likely to make me any happier than I already am. :) But one can never have enough friends!

I love life and all of the wonderful things comprising it. I hope that you do, too. I will never compromise any part of my personality simply to be your friend.

I will, however, go on midnight walks with you and discuss Fibonacci's sequence, create art wherever and whenever possible, follow myself around, be a knowledge sponge!, burst out into song, give a good back massage, listen, and I mean really listen to you, give advice when it is helpful and wanted, indulge in spontaneity, steal snuggles, appreciate beauty in every form, scarf down anything sour, wear scarves whenever I can pull it off, get lost just to adventure, dance like a maniac (because I really suck at dancing when I actually try), weave bracelets out of willow bark, beat you at video games...maybe, cook all sorts of yummy desserts, randomly philosophize, and just be myself. I am, for what it's worth, an ENFP personality.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm going to school at the UW and trying to meet some new people. Haven't declared a major yet, but I'm going to try for Psychology for undergraduate school, I think.

I would love to do Neurology, but if I'm going to devote 8 extra years of my life to graduate school, I would rather do something more lucrative... like Anesthesiology or Radiology.

But.. I have really no idea where I'll end up come graduate school.

I’m really good at

Art. I love to sketch and may pursue a career in the field someday. I also do very well academically, for the most part. Some people would say that I'm a good singer and actress, too, which I guess I can recognize.

I have a weird talent for remembering song lyrics. I know so many that it's quite ridiculous, really.

I'm really good at making people comfortable and cheering them up. I'm a people person, what can I say? Unless I'm getting a weird vibe from someone.

My friends sometimes use me as a dictionary or thesaurus and as tech support. Hot, huh? :P

The first things people usually notice about me

"Holy shit, are you really only 21?"

I'm hoping that they mean it in reference to my astounding maturity and intelligence :P I do seem to get along best with those outside of my "age range." I have been told that I have an old soul.

If we're strictly talking appearance, then most would notice my hair (when I have enough money to dye it a funky color), the eyes, or the fact that I smile excessively (if such a thing is really possible).

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books (and other reading materials): One of my favorite authors is Chuck Palahniuk... I've read Survivor, Invisible Monsters, Choke, Rant, and Fight Club with many other in queue. I'm currently reading Naked Lunch. Also on my queue list is Prometheus Rising and Trainspotting (quite difficult to get into initially due to the fact that it is written entirely in Scottish dialect). I am one of those that enjoyed Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, Siddhartha, His Dark Materials Trilogy, Fahrenheit 451, 1984, Slaughterhouse Five, Jane Eyre, Requiem for a Dream, Night, T.S. Eliot, Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs. I get into moods where I'll read for a couple days, all day, and then forget entirely about reading (usually due to an exceptionally busy schedule) and stop for a month or so until something catches my eye. Then, I'm absorbed in it again.

Movies: Favorites include: A Clockwork Orange, Akira, Amelie, American Beauty, Battle Royale, The Butterfly Effect, Children of Men, Dark City, Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fargo, Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas, Fight Club, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Fountain, Idiocracy, Interview with the Vampire, Kevin Smith movies (these include Clerks, etc. for those of you that didn't know), Magnolia, Memento, The Nightmare Before Christmas, No Country for Old Men, Pan's Labyrinth, Pi, Pink Floyd's The Wall, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Requiem for a Dream, Sin City, The Shawshank Redemption, SLC Punk, Spun, This is Spinal Tap, Trainspotting, Vanilla Sky, What the Bleep Do We Know?, You and Me and Everyone We Know

The six things I could never do without

(not in any particular order)

1. jestro

2. Music

3. Friends/Social Interaction

4. Thought (Intelligent, preferably)

5. Aesthetics (Which I suppose leads to number six)

6. Art (I must be able to surround myself with it-- which isn't a problem, since art is everywhere [depending on how you view "art"].) Expression as a whole.. writing, etc.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Philosophical questions.. but don't think I'm not grounded in reality! Of course, that all depends on your take of reality ;)

Epistemology is an interesting subject, although it pisses a lot of people off.

And I think about my love, because I've never met anyone quite as perfect as he is. (/sappiness)

On a typical Friday night I am

Snugglin'. Or having a good time, well, I guess snugglin' IS having a good time.

*shrug* It varies.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I believe that within me lies the potential to achieve anything I could ever want. I love myself, and I will probably love you, too.

But shh! People don't talk about those kinds of things. They see them as weaknesses ;P

You should message me if

You just want to see what I'm "all about." All I'm looking for on this site are friends, but you can get in touch with me if you think we have something in common.

Oh, and although I appreciate woos, I'd very much prefer it if you'd send me an actual email. It makes it easier on me to know what to say to you. :) If you can't think of anything to say, woos are fine, but I just prefer words.
