I am open-minded and always interested in meeting new people. I love art, music, film, animals, the great outdoors, road trips, swimming, comic books, hiking, and spirited conversations among many many other things. I paint, draw, take pictures and like to keep busy. I also like to be incredibly lazy and watch movies or play video games].

My life is very busy. I'm in grad school, which really takes over (sometimes 7 days a week). But I have fun doing it and am surrounded by a pretty awesome group of people. If you like someone who has their own life, we're off to a good start.

Not sleeping enough. School. Work. I'm a Set Designer & Painter. I do a bit of everything as far as theatre & entertainment goes.

Ha HA. I have fallen into the rabit's hole of shows & school already. It freakin sucks. This too shall pass...

I also spend a lot of time cutting up paper & gluing it together.

drawing, painting, making stuff, cooking, listening, wise-cracking, solving problems, injuring myself in ridiculous ways, driving fast, being spotted in a crowd, procrastinating, and attracting crazy people & old men.

Authors: Chuck Palahnuik, Christopher Moore, Haruiki Murakami. I love reading, but often am sidetracked by school reading. Independent Comics!

Movies: most anything, but some favorites are... Jurassic Park, Big Lebowski, Goonies, Babel, Hook, The Mummy, Brick, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, Life Aquatic, Dogma, the Fifth Element, Four Rooms and so on. I have a strange love for action movies (for both their terrible one liners and the stunts), am a documentary geek, like indie movies, horror flicks and do enjoy me a good kung-fu flick now and then.

Music: I really love variety, I'm very into Blues, Alt Rap & hip hop, classic rock, alt rock folk, world music (particularly Indian, African, & South American). I've been gettin into a Kanan, Iron & Wine, MIA, and David Byrne lately. Favorite artists include: Beck, Bjork, The Clash, Band of Bees, Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Modest Mouse, Bob Marley, Jurassic 5, Ben Folds, Johnny Cash, Ben Harper, Ozomatli, Beta Band, Tool, Smashing Pumpkins (ah high school), Journey, ACDC, ladysmith black mambazo, Mos Def.

Food: As long as I am not forced to dump hot sauce on it...

Design, Art, Culture, Politics, Stupidity in the world, and the humor of it all, my dog, my cat, friends, dinosaurs, becoming a farmer or a rally racer, the mountains & ocean. And when exactly those millions of dollars are going to fall out of the sky and land at my feet.

At home with a drink and decent meal, relaxing after a long week of school & working. Or off adventuring if there's something interesting.
