I spent a year in Guyana, South America teaching high school science. Now I'm living in Okinawa with a grown-up engineering job. I really enjoy variety - new foods, restaurants, music athletic endeavors, sources of entertainment, points of view. I lived in Atlanta for 6 years and loved it, but I'm a bit of a mix between a city and country person. I don't really much care for the suburbs.
Things I've learned about myself:
Hot weather is alright. Really cold weather sucks.
I'm less awkward around kids than I thought I was. Sometimes they laugh at my jokes.
I am really bad at cricket.
I like math. And talking about math.
British people might have invented the english language, but they sure spell things funny (colour, maths, organise, oesophagus, etc).
I like to play tennis, go hiking and camping, play ultimate and generally spend time outdoors.
Life is too short to drink boring beer. I don't really have a favorite color but I have a favorite tree. I love Waffle House but I don't think I've ever actually eaten a waffle there.
