Books:
recently finished Breakfast of Champions, Cat's Cradle, The Sirens
of Titan, The Brothers Karamazov, Crime and Punishment, The Sun
Also Rises. For my courses, I am currently reading French
literature, Wittgenstein, and papers on the philosophy of game
theory.
Movies:
sorry, no horror films. I have a short attention span and must
watch a movie in its entirety, from start to finish. This means
that I haven't seen as many movies as other people may have, but
I'd really like to change that fact.
Shows:
Mad Men, Archer, Arrested Development, American Dad, Colbert
Report, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Daily Show, Don't Trust the Bitch
in Apartment 23, Family Guy, Freaks ans Geeks, It's Always Sunny in
Philadelphia, Modern Family, Party Down, The Simpsons, South Park,
stand-up comedy.... I like (seemingly)offensive comedy.
Music:
I like almost all types of music. However, I am not a music snob.
Please don't ask me to name my favorite songs and artists. I can't
identify them by name, but hearing good music will put an instant
smile on my face. I like to chill out to hiphop, lay back to
classic rock, party to electronic music, pretend to be Freddie
Mercury of Queen during karaoke, get ready in the morning with Fun.
or Portugal. the man, pass out to Explosions in the Sky, belt
Reflections (Mulan) in the shower....eclectic. Jazz and classical
are nice as well. I'm pretty open about music but a bit lazy in
seeking it out, so I would love to hear what you're enjoy as well !
Also, music sounds better when it's heard live.
Food:
Let's put it this way. The first thing I do when traveling
somewhere new is research the local cuisine and find all the best
restaurants. Yelp is one of my favorite apps. Comfort foods include
cheese, chocolate, fried chicken, lasagna, indian, thai, diner
food, mexican, pizza, sushi....
