My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a slightly normal, but also slightly quirky guy from Croydon. I have a great love for music, have a very wide and varied taste and recently (27/5/13) saw Journey, Whitesnake and Thunder at Wembley Arena, which was excellent, but would've been even better if I'd gone with a lovely lady!
I believe in being myself, always and appreciate that in others too.
I am happy, geeky, and musical.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Looking for work

In the evenings I read quite a bit, don't watch much TV these days, just a select few favourites, go out with friends to the pictures or to see local bands.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Singing, pretty good cook, always been good at following recipes but lately I've been experimenting with combinations of flavours and seem to get it right most of the time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People who've known me a while normally notice that I'm half the size I used to be, having lost 7 stone in the last 2 years.
If I have my contacts in then people always notice my long eyelashes and my very blue eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love to read, tend towards thrillers and some non fiction stuff, and have read a lot of horror and some sci fi in the past. Favourite authors would be Jeffrey Deaver, Michael Slade, Dean Koontz, Mark Billingham and James Patterson. Read my first Karen Rose book last year and now really into them and working my way through the lot from the start.
I've seen more movies than Michael Winner has had hot dinners. Used to have nearly 1,000 DVDs but sold most of them off on Amazon. Big fan of old B&W stuff, from Hitchcock to Ealing Studios, will watch anything B&W with Peter Sellers and/or Eric Sykes in it. Enjoy some modern comedies, especially Pegg/Wright and Kevin Smith and most of the Rogen/Carell/Rudd stuff. Will watch anything with De Niro, Pacino or Hoffman in it.
I could be hear all day listing music, love all 70's rock - Glam, Southern, Classic, Prog, it's all good. Big fan of 80's indie and some electronica, Smiths, The The, Cure, Mission, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, got a soft spot for old U2. Currently loving Mumford & Sons, Alter Bridge, reformed Creed, Biffy Clyron and the Slash solo album. Got into John Martyn and Richard Shundell last year, now 2 of my very favourites!
Not a fussy eater really, but tend to only eat prawns in chinese food, don't eat cabbage, sprouts, kale or green peppers, but do eat a lot of salad or veg to bulk out my meals, love cucumber, scallions, orange peppers, brocolli, cauliflower and sweetcorn. Favorite cuisines are Chinese and Mexican, but do enjoy Indian and Italian, and am a big fan of cooked breakfasts and pie and mash, I just can't them much on my healthy kick. Another update, Wagamama has become my favourite place to eat, with Nandos a close second!
