My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A mild-mannered, multiple personality with plenty of optimism and a healthy dose of cynism. An optimistic cynic? hmmm.... I have a zest for getting out and doing things. Volunteering, theater, concerts, restaurants/dives, motorcycling, travel and fishing, to staying at home with a good book (generally non-fiction) and listening to jazz or playing card/board games. I am somewhat domestic and a competent cook. I've even conned a couple of people into believing I'm good at it.

P.S. I'll do the cooking if you do the dishes....
What I’m doing with my life

Mostly non-fiction, some fiction. Any of Joseph Wambaugh's books, Catcher in the Rye, War is a Racket (Gen. Schmedley Butler). TV is Sunday Morning, 60 Minutes, Criminal Minds (well, until Prentiss died...oh, but she didn't. Yay!) and The Closer. Newspaper is USA Today. Music: jazz, blues, some classical. Most movies...some of my favorites: The Worlds Fastest Indian, Mrs. Henderson Presents, The Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan. Theater: the Fringe Festival, Bryant Lake Bowl, Ritz Theater, Cirque du Soliel and for movies, the Riverview and Parkway theaters.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Resilience, Diva (the cat), motorcycle, White Castle cheeseburgers and my smarter-than-me-phone....I'm married to it! UPDATE...I've had it one year now and....still married. Don't think there's ever going to be a divorce.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
