I am funny, hard-working, and creative.
My Self-Summary
Well, I grew up a military brat. I lived in 3 different countries
by the time I was 5 years old.
I like to travel. Unfortunately, I haven't in a while. The last
trip I took was to California then to Portland two years ago.
I enjoy reading books (when I have time), watching movies, camping
(although I hate bugs, it's ok though, I'm fully armed with an
arsenal of bug spray), playing mini golf (I'm not good at it, just
like to play), playing cards (I'm terrible at poker and pretty damn
good at Canasta) hanging with my friends or sometimes just being by
myself. I'm pretty much up for almost anything. I used to "play"
touch football with my friends (i.e. when I got the ball, I
literally went screaming across the field), but my friends got
lazy.
Speaking of lazy. I am the first to admit that I can be a lazy
piece of garbage (well some of the time). Don't get the wrong idea
though, if I'm going to do something, I'm going to do it right.
It's just my motivation is sometimes lacking.
I like learning new things. It doesn't matter what. For instance, I
learned how to replace my retractable antenna on my car (by looking
it up online) when my friend took it through a car wash (with the
brushes) with the radio on and broke 1/2 of it off (which worked
perfectly until my garage door went nuts and closed on it and broke
it off, again. ug). I like to figure things out for my own but I
have no problems asking for help when I need it though (or I'm so
frustrated that I give up). Not that you guys care but, I also
taught myself how to knit, crochet and make jewelry (which I am
good at, by the way).
Ok, by now, I have mentioned the words "Canasta", "Knit" and
"Crochet". No, I am not an old woman who has nothing better to do.
I'm a young woman with nothing better to do/people think it's great
to get hand made gifts (of course they could be lying but if that's
the case, it gives me more reason to give them more hand made
gifts-haha, I'm mean, I know. I've never once claimed to be
nice-ask my friends.).
Also, by now, you've probably noticed I'm a bit long-winded. I'm a
chatterbox. I've accepted this and moved on.
What I’m doing with my life
I work full time at a local hospital.
I’m really good at
1. Making people laugh.
2. Being horribly clumsy (which usually leads back to #1).
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: I'll read anything that will pique my interest within the
first three or four chapters. Right now I am reading "The Fourth
Bear" by Jasper Fforde. I read mystery/thriller, comedy, fiction,
non-fiction, magazines, billboards, stop signs... I think you get
the point.
Movies: Not terribly picky about those either. Just don't like
horror movies. I don't like being startled.
Music: I don't care for rap and haven't warmed up to polka
either.
Food: I'll try ALMOST anything once. Favorite...Korean (might be
kind of partial since I'm 1/2 Korean).
The six things I could never do without
Comfy clothes
Rice
Friends
Laughter
A brush
and unfortunately my cell phone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I want to do when I grow up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Recovering from getting up at 3 a.m. all week. When I'm not doing
that I'm hanging out with my friends.
You should message me if
you have a sense of humor, not looking to jump into anything and
are not allergic/have a hatred towards cats (I have two little
demons, um...I mean...cats) :).
