I'm originally from Toronto, but I'm a treasonous asshole because I like Montreal more. I was so torn about this conflict that I fled the land of my birth entirely to hide out in Beijing, China doing psychological research on depression. It was a great gig because I got to travel all over the place.
Now is precious time to pile on as much fun and debauchery as possible before graduate school in September.

Ce conflit me torturait jusqu'à un point tel que j'ai quitté mon pays d'origine puis je me suis échappé en Chine pour diriger une étude psychologique traitant de la dépression chez les ados. C'était un emploi génial parce que ça me permettait de voyager partout à tous moments.
Actuellement je suis de retour à Toronto avant de démarrer mes études supérieures. Histoire de me vautrer dans la débauche autant possible avant que je n'aurais plus de temp.

I’m really good at
Although it may have languished a bit in recent years, I'm pretty
good at life drawing and writing fiction. When you put those two
together, I can draw a gooooooooooood comic.

A) I've recently relearned that you can get library books totally
free, and also that the Toronto Library has stopped being a
stuck-up arbiter of taste and is now stocking comics. So far I've
been devouring the BD's (especially loved Blacksad, Le Combat
Ordinaire, Le Voyage en Italie, Guy Delisle, and the Nikopol
trilogy) and I finally got around to reading The Kid and The
Commitment, both by Dan Savage, an idol who I'd been
meaning to get around to.
B) Pan's Labyrinth really knocked me out - the sort of movie which feels like someone made it just for me. Other older choices include Donny Darko, The Night Porter (which makes Secretary look like fucking church), and Beauty and the Beast.
C) Current favourites in no particular order: Sparks, Polysics, DEVO, Ladytron, Emily Haines, Super Furry Animals, Barmitzvah Brothers, Arcade Fire, David Bowie, Soft Cell, DMX Krew, Console, Emily Haines. My favourite song of ALL TIME is tainted love, including that Rihanna version.

As a child I always insisted on incredibly obscure Hallowe'en
costumes (Megaman robot masters, 2nd-string X-Men) and was
consistently heartbroken when no one knew what the hell I was
supposed to be. I was absolutely furious when someone mistook my
Reptile costume for a Power Ranger.
I feel like this still plays out in my adult life.

Quand j'étais petit je me suis toujours décidé à me déguiser en
quelque-chose inconnu (ou presque) pour l'Halloween (tel que les

inéluctablement une grande décéption quand la reste du monde
