I am cheeky, smart, and fun.

My Self-Summary

I am a thinker. I love to bounce ideas off of people, even if we don't agree. Nothing gets me more excited than a man with a big brain. I love to laugh and have large and crazy, (or small and dorky), adventures. I am also a collector of hobbies. I get really excited about something, learn how to do it, get bored, and usually move on. I'm not afraid of commitment..there's just so much I want to experience!
I am kind and sensitive, but quick-witted and prone to sarcasm..usually self-directed.

I am very athletic. I'm a Rat City Roller Girl.

I try to keep a positive attitude but I do get angry about people who treat the Earth and its contents like it's disposable. I also think racism and intentional ignorance are truly ugly things. Hearing about animal abuse makes me cry.

I love having good conversations that last until early morning, watching movies, reading books, cooking, drinking beer or wine, camping (not great at it, but I like the sleeping in the tent part), and spending time with friends. I also love to meet new people and do things I've never done before. Overall, I'm pretty extroverted, but can be quite a loner, as well. I have no issues with amusing myself for hours at a time.

What I’m doing with my life

Trying to gain more knowledge about life, in general. Experiencing as many different tastes, sites, sounds, feelings, etc, as possible. Working in Development for a theatre. Learning samba. Raising a very strong-willed cat.

I’m really good at

Thinking too much, being a clown, getting off on the wrong foot, cooking, taking risks, and making the best of things.

The first things people usually notice about me

My laugh.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I am a pretty voracious reader, so it's hard to choose, but the ones I read more than once are "Wuthering Heights" (I'm a bit of a romantic),
"To Kill a Mockingbird", "Lolita"(The story is creepy but Nabakov's prose are amazing), and anything Dostoevsky. I absolutely loved Hesse's "Narcisuss and Goldman". I also love poetry that's visceral.

I mostly like series tv. I loved Battlestar Galactica, Californication, Deadwood, Big Love, and Carnival. Arrested Development kills me! I haven't had tv in about a year now, though, so I'm a bit behind. I still watch movies. I like Boon Dock Saints, Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine.., Barton Fink, Amorres Peros, Closer, and Grosse Pointe Blank, and pretty much any good documentary or independent/foreign film. Ok, I also still watch The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and Princess Bride because they stilll make me happy.

Hard to name all my music favorites. Off the bat: Morcheeba, Portishead, Ting Tings, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley, Nina Simone, Cold War Kids, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Massive Attack, Nick Cave, and Billy Holiday. My taste is very eclectic. I like pretty much anything besides acid jazz and country.

I don't know that I have a favorite food..I love so many different things. I guess pad-thai. I wish Americans had more daily traditions related to food. I think I should have been raised in Europe. I could sit at the dinner table for hours, having conversation with the people I have surrounded myself with.

The six things I could never do without

I could never do without my friends, words (written or spoken), ideas, animals/pets, music, and levity.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What I want to try to do next. And, ok..sex.

On a typical Friday night I am

I am probably with a friend cooking and drinking wine, out having drinks with a group of friends, or staying in by myself reading a book. It depends on how motivated I am by the end of the week.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm ticklish.

You should message me if

You don't mind a girl who's smart and sexy but a bit of a spaz sometimes.
