My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What's up, I'm Sunny! I'm a night nurse with an addiction to fiction and the internet. I'm laid back and can find humor in almost any situation. I'm pretty big geek about computers, sci-fi, tv, and music, but my geek-list also includes foreign languages, movies, and trivia. I was named "Most Likely To Be On Jeopardy" in my high school yearbook, haha.

I'm love Austin, but hate hate hate Texas weather. I am not made for heat, I am a snow bunny! My family was military for most of my life, so I've lived in a bunch of different states, and I definitely have the wanderlust gene. If I stick around one place for too long, I start to get itchy feet, haha!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working nights and sleeping the days away. I'm trying to obtain a social life, but the going has been tough of late.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Putting things off until the veeeeery last minute.

I sing a pretty mean karaoke tune! I make a great coconut cake and I'll kick everybody's ass at Trivial Pursuit. I'm a good tutor and I'm nerdy enough to be proud that I'm a good test-taker. :) I'm great at laughing at myself and taking it easy.
The first things people usually notice about me

I'm almost always smiling. My nickname is Sunny for a reason!

Books: Harry Potter series, Stardust, Hitchhiker's Guide, Sense and Sensibility, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Honestly, I'm addicted to cheesy period romance novels and YA sci-fi/fantasy.

Movies: Anything by Mel Brooks, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Princess Bride, Star Wars IV-VI, any and all Marvel Cinematic Universe installments, Star Trek, Inception, Pride and Prejudice, Much Ado About Nothing, But I'm A Cheerleader, Shelter, Batman Begins, Die Hard, Fiddler On The Roof, most MGM musicals, Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, Sherlock Holmes, Serenity, The Wedding Singer, Tron, Wall-E, the classic Disney movies (especially Sleeping Beauty), Velvet Goldmine, and sooooooo many more!

TV shows: Almost Human, Criminal Minds, CSI (original), Supernatural, Stargate: Atlantis and SG-1, Castle, Venture Brothers, Farscape, Doctor Who, NCIS, the entire Food Network (except for Ina Garten, but especially Alton Brown!), Firefly, Futurama, Mythbusters, Warehouse 13, and Eureka.

Music: I love most types of music. I'm partial to rock with a pop/punk flavor, but I'll listen to almost anything.
Stuff on my ipod right:
Ludo, Black Gold, My Chemical Romance, Panic at the Disco, Ok Go, Cobra Starship, A Fine Frenzy, fun., Weird Al Yankovic, Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes/Travie McCoy, The Used, Them Crooked Vultures, Adam Lambert, NSYNC, Alanis Morrisette, The Beatles, The Hush Sound, The All-American Rejects, and Motion City Soundtrack. I love classic rock, especially Journey, Kansas, Boston, and Aerosmith. I have a ton of 60's/70's pop and rock on my iPod.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My iPhone, sleeeeeeeep, the internet, chocolate, oxygen, music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
random song lyrics and the Avengers.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Possibilities include movie/tv-watching, book-reading, sleeping, drinking, standing in line for a concert, and noodling around the internet, trying not to be bored out of my skull. Mostly that last one.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I played Final Fantasy X-2 all the way through 4 times until I got 100% completion, just to get the extra cut scenes at the end.
