Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a warm, lively person who places great value on imagination. My
favorite things include brunch, Golden Gate Park, bookstores,
karaoke, and making extensive plans (for vacations, theme parties,
movies, dissertations on 80s icons, etc). I love stories and
learning about people and human nature. In particular, I like to
both read and write for kids around 4th through 6th grades. I grew
up in an antiquing family and have several cool collections. I am a
Bay Area native, went to college at a hippie liberal arts school in
the mid-west, spent time in England and Nepal, and have been at my
current place in SF for 9 years. I'm passionate about working with
kids, especially helping them develop socially and emotionally. I
have two master's degrees, one in teaching and one in counseling
I am quick-talking, inventive, and snuggly.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as the head of education at a unique non-profit for children
in Oakland. My varied responsibilities include directing summer
camp, performing ridiculous educational plays, developing creative
curriculum, and doing counseling for local at-risk elementary
school kids on-site.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making things up, being a friend, eating burritos neatly, reading
out loud, resolving conflicts...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I smile at everyone (I was voted friendliest in my high school
senior class poll).

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm in a long-form improv troupe and perform two Fridays a month.
Otherwise it's a toss-up between sleeping and karaoke.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you're looking to meet someone with the potential for a real
relationship, I encourage you to write me. I'm going to be up-front
and say that I have only ONE superficial requirement and that is
height. I have tried dating guys shorter than me (I'm 5'9") and it
never works. As for unsuperficial requirements, many of my friends
are gay and I could never date someone who has a problem with that.
So what AM I looking for? I'm seeking someone who is full of life,
a creative thinker, and emotionally aware. Thanks for reading!
