Ah, the dreaded interview question - tell me about yourself...I’d rather be outside than inside, and close to water is always good. I love to travel, and try to take one big trip a year, sometimes two. Have visited 29 National Parks, and hope to see the rest of them. I’m INTP on Myers-Briggs. I can't resist staring up at the night sky. Friends are often impressed by the things that I know - comes in handy for trivia contests. I have a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. And by the way, my screen name? - it's meaningless.

Living the good life! La Pura Vida! I'm a systems analyst for a well-known company during the day. I'm always planning what my next trip will be - prior two were Cuba, and Israel. Fixing my own little part of the world. My latest passion is being a weekend puppy raiser for a service dog in the prison pup program. The joy of working with a service dog - I can take them anywhere - so, to borrow a cliche, 'must love dogs', at least on weekends for now.

Any author who can ‘turn a phrase' - too many and too varied to list; If I listed my favorites, I'd have to update this once a week. My favorite places to spend time are libraries and bookstores. Coen Bros. movies, Crossing Delancy. Rainman, indie movies. Guilty pleasures: The Amazing Race. For music, Jazz, folk and world music are favorites but I listen to everything, and certainly anything live. Food: ethnic/foreign food of any kind. Always willing to eat good sushi.
