I'm a sweet, fun girl born and raised in southern California, transplanted to Chicago for a few years, and living it up now in New York City. I love trying new things, meeting people, and traveling to far places— generally pretty adventurous and independent. That doesn’t mean I don’t know how to relax though. I enjoy the occasional night draped languorously across my couch, reading a book or watching reruns of “How I Met Your Mother” as much as anyone else. However, between my busy job and the endless activities in the city, that tends to happen less often than not.

ER doctor. Not as glamorous as it seems on TV, but at the end of the day, I love what I do and it makes for great stories.

Staying as active as possible-- running, hiking, biking in and around the city. In my extended time off, I try to travel as often and as far as I can.

Making the best of awkward/ unfortunate situations. Triathlons (well mostly the running and swimming, working on the biking-- totally open to training tips and new riding buddies). Cooking. Eating. Traveling.

I mostly listen to 90's music and alternative stuff. I check out a symphony or opera every few months or so to make myself feel cultured. And nothing beats country/ bluegrass on road trips.

My favorite meal is brunch-- preferably outdoors. Outdoor concerts are amazing too. I mean, what isn't better outdoors?

Hanging out with friends at a bar with good music. Catching a cool foreign film... or a dorky romantic comedy. The occasional girls’ night so I can get my dance on.

I have a weakness for fine scotch and witty banter. Preferably together. (Dangerous, I know...)

You are smart, funny, and a good person. If going for a run, having a great conversation over a drink/ coffee, or doing something totally random is your idea of a good time.
