I am new to Baltimore, goofy, and intelligent.
My Self-Summary
I feel like I still haven't figured out who I am. I'm always trying
to learn more about myself and what is important to me. So here are
a some things I have figured out.
I value personal integrity and being true to yourself.
I can't stand it when others try to exert power over others just
because they can. If you enjoy picking on or talking bad about the
innocent or helpless, we aren't going to get along.
I am a bit of a bookworm, and have always loved bookstores and
libraries. I love the feel of a big old library, it's
peaceful.
I can be a
smart
ass at times and will always remind you of the most obvious
things about what you just said. And, I will remind you that being
a smart ass is better than being a dumb ass. Hey, well I think it's
funny!
I often stay up way later than I should. I think this is mainly
because I don't like the process of going to sleep. When things get
too quiet my thoughts go to all the things that are bothering me
and I stress myself awake. I have learned that having someone to
fall asleep next to does help. Going to bed at the same time as my
partner and talking until I am nice and sleepy and relaxed is my
own slice of heaven.
When I was little I wanted to grow up to be a mermaid. Yes, it's
true. I would swim around in the pool with a diving ring around my
ankles so my feet would stay together like a tail. After realizing
this dream wasn't quite attainable, I took up scuba diving. Wasn't
quite the same thing, but it's as close as I'm gonna get. How cool
would it be to swim with sharks? Pretty dag-on cool I think.
This is being added in by request ...
My interests/things I do for fun ...
- meet new people
- go out to the bar with friends
- stay in by myself
- watch a new movie
- read a good book
- go out to eat
- scuba dive
- sky dive (I want to, but still haven't been able to go just
yet)
- surf online
- listen to music
- go for a walk in the park
- swim
- I'm up for pretty much anything as long as I'm in good
company
I find it amusing how I see in several different people's profiles
that their personality awards do not match them at all. I look at
mine, and think they are pretty accurate. No they might not all say
the nicest things about me, yes I can be kinda messy at times but
I'm also very caring. If you have any questions about my
personality awards feel free to ask and I'll try to explain why I
have them.

What I’m doing with my life
I just moved back to Cockeysville after a turn of events in my
life. Just took the GRE's and I just need to improve my verbal
score a bit more. I'm in the process of applying to graduate
schools and hoping to start in August 2010.
I’m really good at
Listening, trying new things, looking at both sides of an issue,
easily getting off topic
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor, my eyes, my smile? I don't know, depends on the
person and the situation we are in.
"you do! i really like your smile. it's vaguely coy, but definitely
cute. (you can put this on your online profile as something people
first notice.)" ~ Chris
More often then I would like to admit sometimes, people notice that
I look like somebody that they know. They then feel it necessary to
inform me of this piece of information assuming that I actually
care that I look like the girl who makes their coffee for them in
the morning at Starbucks!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: "Full Frontal Feminism" by Jessica Valenti, "The
Green Mile" by Stephen King, "The Vampire Lestat" by Anne
Rice
Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean, Super Troopers, Chicago,
Interview with a Vampire, Queen of the Damned, Benny and Joon,
Finding Nemo, Billy Madison, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward
Scissorhands, Fried Green Tomatoes
Music: I like lots of different types of music but generally
enjoy listening to
alternative or
metal in my free time. Some of my
favorite bands are: Rilo Kiley, Tegan and Sara, Lilly Allen, Rob
Zombie, System of a Down, Disturbed, Saliva, Puddle of Mudd,
Incubus, Gorillaz, Metallica, Linkin Park, Hoobastank, Pink, Gwen
Stafani, Sean Paul
Food: Fruit, and pretty much anything I'm not picky when it
comes to food, but I don't like tomatoes and tofu (maybe I just
haven't had good tofu)
Other Favorites
Animals: Tigers, dogs, snakes
Colors: Red, sea green, and blue
Flowers: Tropical flowers, they make much better gifts than
carnations or roses
Season: Summer, the hotter the better!
Smells: the ocean, peaches, grass, leather

The six things I could never do without
1. My cell phone
2. Friends and Family
3. A good book
4. People who challenge my way of thinking
5. Internet, I've tried it before and it's not enjoyable
6. My baby kitty Eddie
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'm going in life?
What I have to do next?
How the hell am I going to get into grad school?
And finally, trying to remember what it is that I forgot ...
usually unsuccessfully
On a typical Friday night I am
My typical Friday night is the same as all of my other nights; I'm
sitting at home probably on my computer trying to entertain myself
or preparing to get into grad school. I don't really have any
friends around here so I don't get out a lot. I also had to leave
my job after my most recent break up so I'm job hunting right now.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have an incredibly terrible memory at times and will forget some
blatantly obvious things I probably should have remembered.
I am afraid of falling short distances. Yeah, weird ... I
know.
I am even more afraid of being mediocre in all aspects of my life,
and not exceptional at anything. I don't know if I still need to
find my niche, or if I just haven't recognized that I am special
yet.
You should message me if
What I'm looking for in a relationship
- I'm non-religious and would prefer if my partner is as well.
However, if you are OK with me being so, and you have your own
religion that is quite alright with me as well.
- I enjoy learning new things from my partner and would like to
have intelligent conversations, agreeing to disagree is a must
every now and then.
- Being a bit of a nerd/dork/geek is quite alright with me!
:)
- I'd prefer to date someone near my own age, 20 - 28 is the range
I'm most comfortable with.
- Non-smokers are highly preferred unless you are seriously in the
process of quitting right now, I don't want to date a smoker.
- The only drugs I'm comfortable with my partner using is
pot, and that would be in moderation.
YOU SHOULD MESSAGE ME IF...
You are a feminist or at least know that it's not a bad
word...
You like meeting new people...
You just wanna talk...
If you are interested in making a new friend....
If you made it the whole way through this profile and actually read
every thing, you should definitely message me!!!
DO NOT MESSAGE ME IF ...
You are looking for a one night stand...
You are looking for cyber-sex or a cam session...
You don't have anything to say...
You can't take at least a little bit of sarcasm...
You don't want to be challenged mentally... and by that I mean
intellectually stimulated not mentally challenged ;)
