I am smart, fun, and warm.
My Self-Summary
I greatly enjoy life, and feel almost overwhelmed with a million
interests, yet so little time! I read quite a bit, and have
recently found that I also take a particular interest in writing.
Bad poetry, goofy blog posts, stuff I just write and throw away,
it's all good. I've also been working on my Ukulele skills. That's
right: Ukulele skills. I work and UNLV and think it's a ton of fun.
I get to design websites, push myself intellectually, and go to
geeky conferences. The one thing left I'd like to find is a cool
person to spend some quality time with.
What I’m doing with my life
So many things! I am a web designer, honing my skills to hopefully
move up to an upper-tier agency in the near future, or into a
project management position where I could lead a team of people. In
my spare time I've formed a business with my brother and we're
going to begin developing some iPhone applications and games, which
should be a hoot. I have a great time at work, and get plenty of
time off. Good gig, overall. I've also been having fantasies about
mountain biking recently, and so I'm going to pick up a bike in
short order and begin riding.
I’m really good at
Singing in my car. Totally off key, louder than I should sing.
Can't hit a majority of the notes. But you'd better believe I rock
it out.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor. My roommates cat is meowing in my face right
now. Well, I should probably call it yelling. She's on a diet
because she's so fat she couldn't clean her butt, and now she's a
grumpy cat cus we're feeding her less.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Tao te Ching, Blink, The Shadow of Sirius
Movies: Blow, Lost in Translation, Happy Gilmore, Inglorious
Basterds
Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Roots, Van Morrison, Paul Simon,
Tool, aaron Copland
Food: Indian, Thai, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, French, Greek, mmm
it's all sooo good.
The six things I could never do without
Family, friends, challenges, art (all forms), passion, love
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Setting ambitious goals and finding ways to meet them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Maybe going to a concert, hanging out with friends, doing a little
barbeque, writing some code, reading a book or some blogs, planning
world domination
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
You'll have to message me ;)
You should message me if
You enjoy life and want to continue learning and growing and having
fun. If you like books or poetry or art or music or anything and
want to share your passion with someone. If you have a playful
sense of humor. If you like sharing stories. We could have a blast.
