I peruse this site mostly to see how people try to snag other people. The ways people project themselves to both be attractive and real fascinate me. The science nerd in my wants to chalk up the elusivity as The Uncertainty Principle, but science is a tool in my kit and not really the defining characteristic.
Cultural exchange. New homes. Pop culture. Cultural acquisition. I grew up in Milwaukee and my brother and I watched the weirdest TV and movies and played so many video games. It was our culture built for, uh, rich kids not allowed to play outside? Voltron and Indiana Jones and Nintendo. I eventually developed a fondness for the outside world, but I still enjoy weird cultural pockets. It's those small connections we make to make ourselves. I just went to San Francisco and went to 1) a chiptunes music concert 2) an Anarchist bookfare 3) more highly rated places on Yelp and/or Michelin rated restaurants than is good for any normal human being.
I'm smart but not snobby. My romantic side gets in disagreements with my logical side. I root for my romantic side. I love being introduced to different kinds of art especially visual and musical. I seek out people who like art different than the art I already like. I am not a fan of dogma, and I doubt a lot systems. I pretty much excel at being a good friend. The term "ratchet" has snuck into my everyday vocab, and I'm OK with it. Darth Vader is my favorite Star Wars.
