My self-summary
So, this is where I summarize myself, huh? I'll have to get back to you. I picked the exact worst time to go profile writing. Please excuse how slow I am with filling this thing out. (I would like an option for an "under construction" icon. You know, like in the 1998 version of the internet.)

Also, you don't graduate from space camp. It's more about if you were in the shuttle or ground control for the simulated mission at the end. (Not to brag, but I was in the shuttle.)
What I’m doing with my life
I work at a local historic venue. I do things involving employment law, labor relations, extremely badass excel sheets, and talking to people. Sometimes I wish a had a fedora to wear while conducting investigations. I should add that I work an event schedule for about half the year, which usually means my schedule oscillates wildly.

I'm also a semi-retired audio engineer, so I can occasionally be found recording records. (I still use album and record. I am not ashamed of being anachronistic.)

Other than that, I do stuff. And things.
I’m really good at
Witty banter. Vlookups. Crossword puzzles. Mix tapes (sadly, this is becoming a lost art). Backrubs. Random trivia. Drinking whiskey. Sarcasm. Falling asleep reading.
The first things people usually notice about me
I really think you'd have to ask these "people" you speak of.

That said, I'm sure my glasses are quite notable, if a bit mundane. That Edward Gorey tattoo on my forearm probably sticks out, should I not be wearing long sleeves.

At times I'm fairly sure I come off as standoffish, but once I get talking there's a distinct possibility you'll wish I would stop. Unless you're talking. I've heard tell that I'm an excellent listener, so I'm guessing I don't talk too much then.

The six things I could never do without
Ok, I'll play. I will try to hold this to things, which would exclude people, if you ask me. But yes, I love my friends, etc.

Music (both as an abstract and my personal collection)
iPhone (that's depressing to admit, but sadly true)
Coffee (eight shots of espresso in the morning is fine right? oh, you're saying i worked too long in a coffee shop? touche.)
A good book (not capitalized. and preferably a bookcase or kindle full of them)
A well fitted out kitchen (this is, granted, a bunch of things. however, kitchens have been deciding factors in many of my apartments, and i have spent many years collecting the right collection of implements to do food alchemy with. cheating? so what.)
Parentheses (obviously)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I'm overthinking things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Could be anything, really. Working, at the bar, at a show, out with friends, having an at home dinner and a movie night, reading in bed...endless possibilities. That's the advantage/disadvantage of my schedule, Monday night has as much potential as Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes I pretend to be using my phone for innocuous reasons, when in fact I am taking pictures of hilarious or cringe worthy things. It's like I'm a spy. A fairly obvious, unarmed, fedora-less spy.
