EDIT: I don't really live in Booneville. I live in Houston, TX. This is because right now my focus is not on online dating, and I'm feeling guilty about all the ignored messages in my inbox. But I don't want to disable my account either. This way I'm here on my own terms if I'm harder to find.

I'm outgoing and fun, easygoing and good at making people feel comfortable. I have a job I love, a small second job that's mostly just for fun, and a lot of awesome friends who do lots of awesome things. A lot of what we do is social, and it's different every week. I love EDM/techno/trance/house music, and you'll find me at Jet Lounge when the local DJs spin, or Stereo Live for the bigger names. If you love that music too, that's definitely a reason to send me a message! I love the beach, I love Austin, New Orleans, or jet skiing on the lake, and I jump at any opportunity to get out of town. Now we're getting into the holiday season, and that means I'll be throwing a christmas party and a pumpkin carving party too.

I have my nerd side too. I love to read, although I haven't gotten the time to spend at it that I'd like lately, and the list of books I need to tackle keeps growing faster than I can check them off. I love ideas in general. The way to my heart is often through my head - if you are someone I can talk to and we have intellectually stimulating discussions, then I will know you are someone I want to keep around.

I am politically liberal, particularly with social issues. It comes down to equality and tolerance.

I am not religious. I respect those who believe in God but I have a lot of problems with devoutly religious people, and with organized religion in general. A lot of this is because of my own past history - I was raised devoutly Mormon, but left the Mormon church when I became an adult. So I've been that conservative religious person, then grew up and became exactly the opposite. I've seen both sides, and I think it's a valuable perspective, to understand what it's like to view the world in entirely different ways.

Up until now, it's been all the usual responsible adult stuff. I got a degree, then I got a good job that I love, and I spend the rest of my time and energy on my hobbies, traveling all over whenever I get the chance, and the people that I love. But it's starting to occur to me that the sky is the limit and really, I could do whatever I want to do. Get back to me on this one in 6 months, and we'll see.

Apparently I have a very "wholesome" look...and while I wouldn't say that looks are deceiving, people are often surprised to find out just how liberal and open I actually am.

a lot of things! I think about reasons why religious people believe, and qualities that allow them to leave religious faith behind. I spend a lot of time thinking about how religion can inspire so much evil in the name of good - and those few who successfully live the good in their religion. I spend time thinking about the way people treat each other, and why it's so much easier to judge than to empathize. I spend time thinking about gay rights, and the damage that happens when you shame a person for a fundamental aspect of who they are as a person. I spend time thinking about how the world really ought to be, and how the world actually is. I spend time thinking about the dating game, the rules of attraction, the necessity of putting on an act when in the end we all want the same basic things, and why it's so hard to come to an agreement and get there together. I spend time thinking about how much better the world would be if we were all completely, unfailingly honest no matter the consequence.

You should message me if you can successfully combine both passion and stability - such a difficult thing to find in the same person. Also, intelligence is a must.

I don't discriminate against younger guys...I'm just as willing to talk to someone younger than me, as I am someone older than me. It doesn't really matter which direction the age difference goes, so long as you've got your life in order and act like an adult.
