My self-summary
Well hello. I noticed you standing there noticing me, noticing you, notice me. Juuuuust moved to "the Heart of Bucktown" (as Craigslist describes it) and am settling into this new transit-based lifestyle.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a mid-level manager in a large corporation. I plan to get off the continent this spring/summer. I'm not sure where yet... pretty much gonna wing it. Can't wait for warmer weather so I can finally see all the wonders that central Canadia has to offer.
I’m really good at
Making your parents like me (which will probably make you hate me).
Snowboarding like the average person from my original locale.
Building things with my hands.
Cutting my own hair.
I'm going to start a headphones collection someday. The Beastie Boys refer to them as "ear goggles".
When I drink I don't get "beer goggles". I get "beer corrective eyeglasses".
The first things people usually notice about me
I am a fairly unoffensive and upright walking member of the human race.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Just finished "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy in record time. Currently in the middle of "Hell's Angels" by H.S. Thompson, "Survivor" by Pahlaniuk and about to start Pressfield's "The War of Art".

All of my favorite movies came out between 1981-89 like Aliens, Ghost Busters, Back to the Future II and Mad Max: Return to Thunderdome.

Music-wise, my taste varies. It's a little cliche to say you're into everything, but I try to keep it diverse, yet informed. My go-to is indie-rock from the last 20ish years, but I also like Motown/R&B, classic rock and country classics buckaroo.

I am the reason for carne asada tacos.
I make a good lentil soup.
The six things I could never do without
The oft overlooked semicolon; I couldn't live without it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Motorcycles: where to ride them.
Fun: where to find it or how to obtain more.
On a typical Friday night I am
Rock climbing, rocking-out, being a garage hermit, or dropping in unannounced on friends/family.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've read the Hunger Games trilogy.
