My Self-Summary

I'll totally edit this later, but for now, if you want to know 'bout me, go to www.myspace.com/rose_of_arc. I've also got my own website which I haven't worked on in years--www.rosannsworld.piczo.com.

What I’m doing with my life

Wasting it, really. I want to work in entertainment, be it an actress, screenwriter, songwriter, novelist, illustrator, or anything to do with art. I can't really draw well without the aid of a picture, but I just need more practice. I work at a movie theater right now, but I'm really fed up with it. I need a career, so I'm going to NW Vista this semester and hopefully next. Taking English Comp and French. Two great subjects, I say.

I’m really good at

Multitasking. I'm annoyed by people who can't, but then I realize--it's a talent. I'm also great at typing and coming up with fantastical stories.

The first things people usually notice about me

Not what you see in the pictures.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:
-Green Rider by Kristen Britain
-The Eyes of God by John Marco
-The Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling
-The Odyssey by Homer
-The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien
Books by
-Dean Koontz, Bentley Little, and Richard Laymon
And I have a ton of fantasy novels I need to get to...

I'm also into comic books. I have a HUGE collection, some of which include many older X-Men and Spider-Man comics. Some others are Tomb Raider, Fathom, Indiana Jones, many comics from Top Cow, Chaos! and CrossGen, Tales From The Crypt, Vault of Horror...like I said, TONS!

Movies:
Back To The Future trilogy, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Opportunity Knocks, The Emperor's New Groove, True Lies, The Terminator, T2, more to come...

Video Games:
Tomb Raider series, Resident Evil series, Silent Hill series, Guilty Gear, Devil May Cry series, Grand Theft Auto series, Guitar Hero (haven't really played Rock Band), DDR, Fatal Frame series, Spyro, still want to play Uncharted, more to come...

Music:
I like mostly all music, but I'm more into rock and metal. Favorite band is Journey and offhand, here are some others: AC/DC, Metallica, Disturbed, Ozzy, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Soilwork, As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, Sonata Arctica, Kamelot, Avantasia, Gamma Ray, Stratovarius, Rhapsody (Of Fire), Luca Turilli, Phil Collins, Chicago, Peter Cetera, Warrant, Poison, Skid Row...other 80s hairbands, uh...Michael Jackson, old Madonna...I also love mood music and gregorian chantssuch as Pure Moods albums and Magna Canta (more to come...)

The six things I could never do without

1) Electricity (people need this for their computers and other stuff if they're on a desert island!)

2) My collection of books

3) My collection of DVDs (which includes the equipment to play them on!)

4) Another person or people to entertain or be entertained by

5) My creativity

6) My mother

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What I'm going to do with my life. There is way too much I want to do, but I have to choose something to start off with. It seems to be the most difficult part. I'm also very philosophical, ESPECIALLY if I were to actually start studying it! I'm always finding ways to better things or people, especially myself. I always take the hard way instead of the easy way just to satisfy curiosity and to learn. That's one thing I'm genuinely interested in, is gaining more and more knowledge. I've got TONS of text books just waiting to be read. Problem is, as I said before, I don't know where to start.

On a typical Friday night I am

stuck at home. I used to go out all the time, but my friends have gotten so busy. Either they're all the way across town or they're working that night. It would be great if someone could join me either in sitting around watching tv or playing video games, or going out somewhere. Anywhere.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I admit too much. You just have to watch for it. I'm always spilling way too much information which either leads to people thinking I'm weird, gross, or crazy. We all usually have the same thoughts, but no one likes to admit them. I guess I'm blunt in that sense.

You should message me if

You and I have a lot in common. Or if you can introduce me to new things. :D Just do it.
