I'm like an onion. Its not that I am deep and made up of many layers, its just that I smell funny. I also have a quirky sense of humor. Those who get it laugh a lot, those who don't just think I smell funny.

From my name and photos you should know that I like the beach. I also play and coach soccer.

It would be nice to find someone fit in mind and body who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Someone who is proud of the time and effort that they put into raising their children. Someone who keeps their tattoos to a minimum. :)

I should note that I am a dad above all else. I spend a lot of time with my kids (15, 13, & 8) either coaching or just hanging out with them. I am hoping that in 10 to 20 years they will look back and say that, though a little weird, their dad was a good guy. This means I am looking for someone who, not only respects that, but admires it. The reality is, time with me would be limited, but it would be memorable.

I'm not a teacher, but I think I'm a good teacher/mentor to my colleagues, my children, and the youth that I coach.

That I really don't smell that bad.

Favorite movies - anything in black and white from the 1940's.
Music - 80's alternative, Bruce, Country, Classical. If I said Show Tunes, would you question my manhood? :)
Books - Jack Reacher novels (that should quell any fears about my manhood :)

My children, my siblings, my friends, my cell phone, my ceiling fans, my guitar (that's not really true - I go months without playing it, but I thought it would make me sound cool:).

How things can be designed better. I am convinced that things like weeds and stink bugs have been put here to help us in ways like curing cancer or feuling our cars. I'll figure it out eventually!
