Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a woman on a mission to design a brand new bed for a brand new
life. It's going to be beautiful!
I'm a dancer and actress who has a second act career in education.
I just love what I do, and helping people who need me this way is
I'm a woman returning to art, in the form of writing this time, and
trying not to let anybody discourage me. I had something optioned
for TV, another got some attention, and maybe I have a publisher
this time. Tune in in 9 months to see what gets born of this
I am a yogi, a hiker, and a friend to my own. I adore my sister!
I've had wonderful teachers all my life, and am amazed that this
time of life is so much fun! I've been loved, and it matters...I
still love everyone I ever did...and all things change but that.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in a private practice that helps people learn, read, write.
It's really nice work and it all began in a volunteer program in a
local shelter, not far from Rock Center. Yes. You could walk from
the Rink to the Shelter in 10 minutes. I'm lucky as can be to love
what I do and to do it well!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Friendship and love. I'm a true friend and keep things like thank
you notes, love letters, paintings, sculpture, my own dumb poems
from 3rd grade. I am a very good hiker and I learned that last
summer making the pilgrimage to Santiago. 256K on foot! I'm a
dedicated writer and have a deep need to do it every day. I'm a
tantric warrior, too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Big smile, I think. Intelligence, curiosity, generosity, delight.

the big food movies: Babette's Feast, Eat Drink Man Woman,
Fanny and Alexander, Black Orpheus, It's a Wonderful Life.
Books: just read May We Be Forgiven, Fools Crow, Great Expectations
My music is partly redneck music, and I can't explain. Lynrd Skynrd
except for one lyric in Sweet Home Alabama. Bluegrass, Celtic
Music. Oh, and Leonard Cohen. He's my man! (and his age doesn't
diminish this at all). I love opera but hate going to it. And
classical music is on at my office all day long. Chet Baker is a
heartbreaker, so is Sassy, and Ella together with Louis swings! I'm
newly into Brazilian jazz, and love live jazz at Lincoln Center
near my home.
I love and support dance through the Bill T. Jones/Arne Zane Dance
Company and the AbrahaminMotion companies.
I don't have a TV so I have no clue what people are watching.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Stories, yoga, love, children in my life, purpose, cannoli, good
wine (but not too much--I don't hold it too well.) OK, seven.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to control my own game in business, in art, and in relation to
my own heart. It's a wild one!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Forcing myself out to the National Arts Club to see if any
interesting is happening there. Having wine in the prettiest 1870
room in the city.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a glorious romantic. My main picture here is from last
