I am verbose, insatiably curious, and somewhat ridiculous.

My Self-Summary

I Am Only Looking For Friends. If you hadn't taken the time to notice.
You know, people to hang out with. Or to go to events with. Maybe grab a drink? Watch some witty shows or catch a movie? Go on a hike? A jogging buddy? An adventure accomplice?

If you have cat allergies, it might not work out. Sorry.

I like to play with words, and enjoy indulging in alliteration, for a while I gave up coffee for Maté, asymmetry is an element I crave, aesthetic and visual composition keeps me entertained, I love to learn (but hate to be patronized), body modification is a fickle hobby of mine, conceptual thinking is good, the abstract makes me smile, ridiculous books consume my time, trendy crap gives me a reason to consume, nostalgia is big for me, I have an uncanny love for narratives, and I laugh a Lot, often about nothing in particular (which I very deliberately linked, yes). I aspire to be multilingual.

I am active. I often try things or take up hobbies simply for the sake of doing/trying them. Curious.

Poor grammar/writing skills can make me cringe, but I will delightedly converse in run-on sentences and/or fragments for all eternity, if the fancy strikes me. Hypocrisy? No no. There's a fine line, you see.

I want to see the world, and dislike the complications, obligations, and lack of finances that seem to bar so many of my good travel plans.

Discovering new music makes me high.

What I’m doing with my life

Good Question.
I'm trying to learn French. It isn't easy. They have a lot of words, you know.

I'm a full-time student. I work in retail. I have a couple of these fuzzy kitty creatures. I like to see things, read things, learn things, do stuff. You know, that kinda thing.

I’m really good at

The first things people usually notice about me

This isn't something I ask people.

Also, feel free to notice that the comments below are the work of editors. Self-deprecating humor is great, but I don't usually compose scenarios in which I am a duck.

-They notice her Stellar Beauty ..

-Her gorgeous eyes!

-duck lips. they notice that they're talking to a duck. a duck-faced girl prostrate on the floor, weighted by piercings (presumed markings of duck farmer?). They notice with interest that nobody farms ducks, not a familiar culture. whose duck is this? and they notice a familiar idea, a proper idea they had once; a property idea. can you own something really? whoever put the metal on this duck sure thought so. like a computer you shouldn't put magnets around her. they notice something in the word computer that seems interesting and then forget, and keep walking past the duck on the floor

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I'm a list compiler. (Copy + Paste = Neat-o)

For the sake of summarizing: I read lots of books, and plan on reading lots more. I watch movies for the sake of seeing them. Music is important. Food is not a huge talking point to me?

The six things I could never do without

This category is pretty absurd, right? I am hereby re-phrasing it: "The six (or 3) things I would prefer not to do without."

A pleasant environment. (I miss beaches and starry skies when they aren't available.)

Music. There is always a song in my head, if not coming out of my mouth. I have a constant mental soundtrack.

Um. Sustenance, including but not limited to: foodibles & beverages. (That's important?)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The questions, like any other sentient being.

My future. The human psyche (esp. the dreaming mind). Words & Syntax. Aesthetics and Photography (with a capital 'P'). Musical influence. Art. Fashion. Fiction. Business. Possibilities. Perspective. Everything else.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Having this account makes me feel like a bit of a creep, but being the unbearably curious soul that I am, I suspect this will continue for a while.

I not-so-secretly long to be a coastie again, someday.

You should message me if

you have something to say.
