My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I enjoy exciting adventures near & far, as well as relaxing time with family and friends. My philosophy: if you look in the eyes of your significant other, and you see yourself shining back as a bright light, adored and appreciated--then keep that fire burning! If you look into his eyes and your self seems to be falling away into a deep hole because he just doesn't get you, doesn't understand what is really important--or worse doesn't care a whole lot because he is too into his own thing to bother---run in the opposite direction! I have loved men very different from myself and found that intriguing and alluring--but I am exhausted trying to make that work! What would it be like to just do things together, to laugh about the same things, to get into the same music so much that you break out in spontaneous dancing....hmmm....what a thought. I'd love to talk into the night about the movie or book or meal or vacation we just shared..a real discussion, not just agreeing, but truly appreciating each others' thoughts and opinions. One image of a beautiful relationship I have always had: to be on the same couch reading different books but just knowing you are so close in heart and mind and body but doing your own thing. Honesty---in the context of deep compassion and love--is so important to me! I love being on my own and even by myself; but lately, I find myself desiring to tell someone what my day has been like, to be nurtured through the end of a tough week, to listen to candid reflections of someone who knows and cares deeply about me. And, I am ready and willing to give all that right back!! Frankly, I am just curious if there is someone out there to with whom I can share my independent self!! Guess we'll see!
