I'm a what-you-see-is-what-you-get kinda girl. I'm a bit neurotic (like most of us women folk), but I try to be adorable about it! I'm a bright girl and I love to keep up with what's going on in the world. I'm fiercely loyal to my friends and family. I like to be surrounded by positive people, because life is too short to be a pessimist. I love cartoons and comic books and I hope I'm never too old for them!
I'm trying not to sit on my butt too much on my days off, so lately I've been coming up with random fun things to do. Last weekend we did indoor gocart racing, canoeing, bike riding and ended the evening by taking over a downtown theater to watch zombie films on the big screen. Next weekend I'm checking out an old fashioned drive in movie theater then maybe taking off for New Orleans for a couple of days of goofing off :) I'm always up for a last minute road trip!

I've been working for ExpressJet airlines now for over a year. I LOVE what I do! I'm not a workaholic or anything, I enjoy my time off... I just finally found a career I can get excited about! Plus the flight benefits enable to me travel anytime I want.

I'm really looking forward to going back to school in 2010 to finish my business degree. I'm hoping to also explore some classes in voice over acting as it's always been a dream of mine to do that for an animated series. It's more of a hobby than a carreer goal, but I'm still excited to try!

Learning things the hard way. I guess that means I'm terrible at learning from other people's mistakes. If you're going down, go down in flames baby! Of course, constantly taking chances has taught me to OWN IT when I mess up in life. I hate the blame game and have no time for defensiveness. EVERYBODY makes mistakes. It's what you learn from them that counts.

I'm always smiling and/or laughing. I really believe laughter and joy are the healthiest things to experience in life. I give everyone %100 respect and trust in the beginning. You either keep it or you don't. It's a hard way to live but I'd rather be screwed than jaded.

Currently for reading I'm devouring everything I can by Augusten Burroughs. I find his dark sense of humor to be very similar to mine. I also enjoy Biography's by pretty much anyone! I love to get lost in someone else's life for awhile. On the weekend you might catch me with a good mystery.

Lately it's been all about the comedy for me. Anything with Seth Rogan or by Kevin Smith is gold. Will Farrell is hilarious in almost anything he does.
I definitely have a thing for Zombie Flicks (mostly the B movies). I love Bruce Campbell and have been a big fan of Army of Darkness and Evil Dead since ninth grade. I'm also becoming a HUGE Simon Pegg fan and if you've never seen Spaced, you're missing out on one of the funniest shows ever on british television. I really think British television is way more clever and creative than American television these days.

I'm Italian so I love Italian food! My friends and I like to experiment with new restaurants as often as possible, the spicier the better. I'm attempting to learn how to cook for the first time in my life. My brother is a professional chef so I figure I got the gene in me somewhere.

Out Pub crawling or at a live music venue! I hate sitting at home on my off days so I'm always looking for new activities to do. I also tend to take a lot of small 3 day mini vacations whenever possible! I LOVE to travel!

I loose my keys a LOT and sometimes I find them in the freezer. I can't figure out HOW they get in there!
