I am spontaneous, humorous, and honest.

My Self-Summary

I'm originally a southern gal from cajun country. I'm pretty down to earth and outgoing. I absolutely love making others laugh or smile. I consider myself unique because you won't quite meet another gal like myself. When I'm in a large crowd, I stand out from the rest and whenever I speak, others always grasp to listen. I'm sort of preppy with a hint of rock so I play guitars and drums for fun and sometimes catch myself jamming out to Jay Z or Trina. I'll sometimes dress in prep sweaters/cute collar shirts underneath with my hair in a ponytail and glasses on with pants from New York & Company or Old Navy sipping on lattes with the girlies over lunch (our usual every other month). Another week or day you can find me in Aeropostale wear, which is my favorite and what I'm in mostly. One month, I might just go rock-postal on that a_s lol and dress in my punk rock gear (used to be hardcore Fefe/Green Day-punk rock chick back in the day). Chyeah, very dramatic episode there, but I won't get into that one ha! You just get the best of all worlds with me ;-). Being honest with my friends and loyal is something important to me but most importantly being honest with myself is #1. I am outspoken but with tact and not afraid to speak my mind. I'm ambitious, adventurous, and very open minded. I always like to say that I'll try just about anything once. The keywords are: JUST ABOUT...so lets not get it twisted here :D. With that being said, I'm a 3D woman: Drug, drama, and disease free. Like Britney says: "There's only two types of people in the world, the ones who entertain and the ones that observe. Well baby I'm a put on a show kind of girl...." I'm simply both lol. Although I can be the star of the show,....yes I do like to party every once in a while with friends and family, I also have a more serious and deep side to me. I love to write deep poetry sometimes but it's not as often as I used to. I need to feel that vibe or an intensified emotion to get into some really deep radically poetic stuff and direct that onto paper. I do have strong values and beliefs that I stand by 100% so peer pressure is pretty much non-existent in my life. Did I mention that I cook? Yes, pretty dorn good at it too. I'll hang out with just about any and everyone. I'm not judgemental at all unless you outright show absolutely poor character. With that being said, I am a lady with class. I'm the chick you won't forget and the one who you can always count on through thick and thin.

What I’m doing with my life

I went to college, CTU, and plan on going back real soon because I just looooove being in school *sarcasm* :D. No really, I do plan on going back because I believe in a higher education especially in today's economic crisis. I live alone in Denver, CO with my pet cat. I have no children and never been married, by choice. When I left my gf of three years, that really ached but shed a new and brighter light for me into putting a lot of my love life and what I SHOULD be in search for into perspective when that search comes around. I am currently in the process of spiritually cleansing myself though so I'm on this site searching for good close friends to hang out with and do what pals do. When the timing is right for me and I find that one "sparkling" person, then I will waste no time in grabbing what I want and I'm sure that individual (male or female) won't either. I do have a pretty good job working in the DTC area in telecommunications and a nice vehicle of my own. I'm currently just taking some time to myself and enjoying the company of friends and family. I'm observing CO state. I like it so far and not bad for being a resident for less than 5 years now.

I’m really good at

I am really good at cooking, sports, writing, debate, and being a great sister along with a great daughter. I'm also good at writing music. I used to write alternative music back in high school with a few friends. Now I'm getting into writing reggae, thanks to Matisyahu, one of my all time favorite music artists. I love spiritual type of music. Don't confuse spiritual with religious please.

The first things people usually notice about me

People usually notice my naturally beautiful skin and smile because I'm always smiling. Following that is my accent. I have a slight southern twang (accent) and very articulate.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Some of my favorite books are Save The Last Dance, which has nothing at all to do with the movie with Julia Stiles, and Pleasure, by Eric Jerome Dickey. Some of my favorite movies are Brokeback Mountain, Domino, Love & Basketball, The Josephine Baker Story, Imitation of Life, The Notebook, Rent, The Prestige, Moulin Rouge, American History X, Higher Learning, Love & Basketball, The Color Purple, etc. I love a lot of different foods but all time favorite cuisine is cajun and creole. Mmmm, crawfish etoufee, seafood gumbo, New Orleans bbq shrimp, creole squash, bread pudding, homemade sweet potato pie right from Momma's kitchen, mustard greens, New Orleans style red beans and rice, etc. Hell the list goes on and on in this category :-O. I also love Thai and Carribbean such as Jamaican jerk chicken and Thai panaeng curried. I love Thai sweet rice and mango dessert too. It's a simple concept but it's amazing how they put that simplicity into one delicious treat. I love amaretto truffles also which I make from basically scratch. Ugh, la Nouvelle Orleans, ma maison. Aucun autre endroit ne l'aiment!

The six things I could never do without

The six things..hmmmmm:

1. My family

2. My vehicle, BOSS B!T3H

3. My baby, Josie (pet cat)

4. My music CD collection

5. Food and water (I know I combined them lol)

6. My celly (cellular phone)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I'd say I spend a lot of time thinking of my future and what could become of it. I wonder about getting married, whether it be to a man OR woman, and also about whether or not I want to have a child someday. I also think about when my parents leave this earth ;-(. I don't know what I would do without them. They are such amazing parents and I'm so proud of both my mother and father. I think a lot about how much I love my family.

On a typical Friday night I am

I am usually at home relaxing or as I like to say, chilaxing. If I'm not doing that, then I'm hanging out at one of my friend's places for a few hours. I work on weekends so friday nights aren't a big deal to me. It's usually on those Saturday nights where you can catch me and my girls in a local tavern or pub letting it loose and being a star! We like to hit up all sorts of hot spots like Hamburger Mary's and/or J.R.'s gay bar, although my homegirls are heterosexual, they're so open minded. That's why I love them! We also have girls night out at Caldonia's every other saturday night, with the exception of a few close male buddies.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

.................

You should message me if

you are also in search of really cool and good friends to hang out with and get to know. If you're as whacky, mature, and down to earth as I am, then totally hit me up xoxo.
